A little wobbly, nice to look at, birds love it!
There no doubt, this mailbox post is very aesthetically pleasing! Although it just plastic, from a distance it looks like a very expensive & custom post! I mounted using the screw-in stake accessory that this manufacturer offers. Initially, it was pretty sturdy; however it has since loosed & is a bit wobbly, I'll eventually have to disassemble & re-do. biggest watch-out that I wish I knew about before I purchased ... birds LOVE this mailbox post! The post design is such that it provides an excellent perch area, and the birds obviously confuse the post for a toilet! Beware ...

Very Nice
I'm very happy with this mailbox. The only thing I would recommend is that the correct mailboxes for this post be recommended. I bought one at the same time i purchased the post and had to take it back to my local store to exchange because it wouldn't fit this post.

arm cant support the weight of a mailbox
This mail post looks great but the arm is plastic with little support and it cannot support the weight of the mailbox. It flops and wiggles around when you open the mailbox. Im hoping if i punch a hole in the back of my mailbox and drive a bolt through it into the post, it will help with stabalizing the whole thing. Kind of a ridiculous thing to have to do on a $130 some odd mail post... i would not recomend buying this item to anyone.
