16-in Hacksaw is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Broke in only 2 months I had this hacksaw for about 2 months and the part to tighten the tension broke on it already making the saw useless. The first two times I changed the blade everything was fine but the third time I went to change it the thing only turned 9 times instead of the 12 it was supposed to and then It got tight and wouldn't move any more then a few days later when I went to use it the metal rod inside had broke and the thing you use to tighten it on top was just laying next to it.. Overall the rest of hacksaw is made high quality however the rod that actually tightens it is made out of a cheap weaker metal that breaks easily and for a top of the line hacksaw I would expect better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Don't over torque The design of this saw is very good. It allows one to use two hands to apply more pressure if desired. It also has a nice feature of adding a small reciprocating blade to the front for getting in tight spots. While the frame is plenty strong, be careful not to go nuts on torquing the blade. While really torquing the blade, I broke the tightening mechanism that is in the handle. I was surprised to find out that Lenox made the tightening mechanism out of pot metal. The "50,000 psi" boldly written on the handle kind of leads one to think that you tighten the snot out of the thing. Don't do it. Who knows what kind of test Lenox did to come up with that. You can tighten it really good, but be careful not to break the mechanism by going nuts. When I brought it back to Lowes, they exchanged it no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can actually cut a straight line! I was very impressed with this saw. Most hacksaws will flex and leave you with an angled cut, however this saw can easily make perfectly square cuts without any flex. Cutting aluminum extrusion with this saw was accurate and painless.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Broke on third use Third time using this saw I was cutting a pipe when the blade flew off. I thought maybe I hadn't tightened the blade enough - only went to the minimum recommended number of turns since I was just scrapping the pipe - so I put it back on. Sure enough the blade flew right back off in no time. Turned out one of the pins that holds the blade had broken loose from the inside of the frame so it was free to rotate in its hole. Eventually it would turn enough that the tension on the blade slackened and the blade would pop off. While it worked it was a solid saw so I give it 2 instead of 1 stars but I certainly cannot purchasing one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saw Good strong frame. I like the storage space for extra blades, so I have different pitch blades in it. The tensioner is very good because there are no loose parts to fall off, when you change blades. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from buy once this was a purchase I needed to make due to having a cheap made-in- China hacksaw. Worth the money and should last a lifetime for home DIYers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing is sooooooooooooo much better than your typical two piece saw frame. The tab at the back top of the handle is used for tightening/removing the blade and is much easier than messing with your typical wing nut setup. Blade storage in the top rail is a nice touch. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Nice Saw Great Ergonomics and a super comfortable handle. Easy to change blades too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
