Oven Combination with Even-Heat(TM) Convection - 30" - SS is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 1351.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality Only had this for a month but I am super happy with my purchase. I had a GE profile and cooking in it one night it would not cut off and I had to turn off the breaker at the panel for it to cut off. I decided to replace it and I searched for what my wife wanted and settled on this unit. We could not be happier with its performance and also its looks. It really is a serious upgrade to what we had before and we love the sliding rack what a plus. We are still learning all the things it can do but it is great so far and also super quite when the fan is on for cooling which helps since our family room is right beside the kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feels like quility We bought this for our kitchen remodel. We already have a KitchenAid refrigerator and dish washer which, we are happy with so we went with the KitchenAid combination wall oven. I really like the quality and feel of this unit. We've had it for about a month and I like the way it cooks. The one small complain i have is about the microwave controls/interface. Sometimes when i hit the start button it asks, "start?" but there is no button to say "yes". If you hit the start button again just asks again. You have to clear it out and start over. I need to read the manual to see if i'm doing something wrong. The point is that the interface could be more intuitive.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Aside from its looks, very un-impressed with this I have had this unit in my wall and working since September 2019. I have not had more than a couple of weeks where the unit did not shut off mid-cooking, delaying, doubling, or ruining the meal. I have had two services techs come out to the house and they replaced the motherboard, and then the front control panel (the second trip), and as I sit here and type it continues to shut off while trying to be used. Pro - beautiful to look at. Con - everything else including the value (cost to usage comparison). If you like the look of this unit, print off a picture and plaster it over a different unit that works.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Combination Wall Oven is a reasonable compromise We purchased this as part of a "KitchenAid" kitchen during new construction. Favorable aspects? It has nice appearance and the main oven is large with high quality fixtures. Baking/Roasting is a breeze and it is reasonably quiet (better than our prior Bosch) and it cooks well. Likewise the combination microwave/convection mini-oven is rather spacious and the microwave portion works well. The convection portion is less refined and the documents are lacking. The menus are convoluted and the shelf doesn't have the best support. Still it cooks side dishes reasonably well such as potatoes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More great features than you've likely seen before We just got the new combo unit installed a couple weeks ago. So far, its working great. We still need to read the instructions to understand how a couple things work. However, I didn't really realize when purchasing that the microwave has both a convection and browning feature. It includes an electric overhead heating element like in a standard oven, so that could be amazing to use for all kinds of things like pizzas, nachos, etc. We also added a warming tray to our installation that not only works well, but looks great, and is awesome for reheats or holding stuff warm before dinner, etc. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Reasonable Combination oven. I purchased this unit to replace a similar one that had broken down after the motherboard failed on it (due to self-cleaning and the motherboard for the old unit was obsolete). We find so far that the unit is okay, but fails to get to the correct temperature. For example, if we set it for 350 degrees, when we measure it, it's only getting to 335. So we are constantly having to adjust the temperature setting to make it correct for cooking and baking. Also, we have found that when the oven is on, we microwave oven has to be manually controlled and set as the automatic settings don't work when the lower oven is on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Enjoying my new oven and mircowave I like this oven and convection/microwave oven. My only complaint is you have to put in the time of the convection in advance. At the end of the time, the oven shuts off and if your item is not done, you have to restart the oven with a new set time. Just kind of a pain. Other models friends and family have, you can toggle this switch so it will run until you turn it off like a traditional oven. I have read the owner's manual and cannot find anything related to this. Also, this microwave oven door opens down like a traditional oven. Love the look, but something I did not think about is my son can no longer put things in the microwave.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Buy Unless You Like Service Calls... This oven was purchased brand new for my new home. I was attracted by about the 'commercial look' handles and the band name. Since then, I have had at least 5 service visits. Both doors were warped and had to be replaced and still do not perfectly align to the frame. The microwave fan has been adjusted and replaced 2 times. The fan still rattles inside the frame--less so than new, but, not acceptable. I have, over 25 years, purchased appliances from GE to Bosch and Wolf. I cannot recommend this oven or my experience with Kitchen Aid service. I will be posting experiences with the "top quality" refrigerator I also purchased. When these appliances are ready to be upgraded, I will be shopping for anything other than Kitchen Aid.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The oven that doesn't cook pizza Well, this is a really big issue- you can't line the base of your oven with foil. We like to cook pizza and now we can't. The oven also doesn't seem to cook anything as well as our 18 year old oven did. The combo microwave/convection feature is clunky at best. The controls are not "user friendly" and it's a pain to constantly have to refer to the guidebook to make a simple meal. And what's with the extremely loud whooshing noise when you are done cooking? You can't even be in the same room with it, it's so loud. We joke that we live in the Scottish moors where the "Hound of the Baskervilles" book was written. We are so disappointed by the quality of your products- [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from LOUD This wall combo was the worst decision. The fan in the lower oven is SO LOUD, it also vibrates like crazy! ( of course…as soon as the warranty was off. I should have researched the ovens first because when I did it said there has been a problem with the fan for almost 10 years. Now a decent company would have a recall and replace

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Combo After almost a month of moderate use, we've found this combo oven to be efficient and easy to use. The touch pad combined with the display messages makes heating/baking intuitive. Both ovens warm quickly and bake evenly. Having not had a convection oven previously, we are particularly enjoying that feature on both the microwave and the lower oven. The one, pardon the pun, "shortcoming" we discovered is that with the fold down door on the microwave, shorter individuals may have a bit of difficulty reaching the back of the box to clean. All-in-all, an attractive pairing with great functionality. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't cook evenly Bought in December. Since then repair man been out twice. Internal temperature when set at 375. Goes from 425 degrees in back of oven to correct temperature 375 in the front. And yes the door has been closed for more than 10 minutes to ensure it wasn't due to the door. There is a 50 degree difference from back to front. The appliance repair company said they have to get in contact with kitchen aid tech services. It's been almost 3 weeks since there first visit. Spending over 3k on this oven you expect it to work correctly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Combination Oven! I bought a complete Kitchen Aid appliance Kitchen in our new home. This Combination Oven is fantastic! Love the detail in workmanship and quality. You can buy other brands with all the gadgets like cameras and screen on the door to look inside or on your phone. Or turn on you oven to preheat from your phone while on your way home. But really how often are you going to use it. Then when it fails look out....$$$. I went after quality in Kitchen Aid. Long term reliability that had all the practical options with a design that you expect from Kitchen Aid. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great (unexpected!) Features! I selected all Kitchen Aid appliances for my new home a few months ago and have been thrilled with them, including my Wall Oven/Microwave Combo. There are features for both the microwave and oven that I hadn't known about when I selected the item such as "proofing" for bread dough, steam functions, special settings for softening/melting butter, crisping feature for the microwave that I have not tried yet. Love the roll-out oven shelf (wish all 3 were on rollers!), the oven temperature is spot on and have baked quite a few things successfully so far...cakes, muffins, fruit crisps, etc. Very happy! Rated 3 out of 5 by from Combo wall over Must say I am a little disappointed with the performance and operational usage of this product. Looks great, and the lower oven is good, but the microwave combo convection oven is not too user friendly. I do not like how long it take to understand the commands you give it. Also, once programmed, you need to wait for the oven to reach temperature, and then AGAIN you have to open the door, re start. Crazy, it should be set and go!!! Also, once the micro is done its cook thing, the fan continues to run and make noise for a very long time afterward Like who wants to listen to that??? (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice looking, works great, hard to clean Bought this oven last summer. Love the design. Did not want the element in the microwave but there was no other option. The outside is difficult to clean. This seems to be an issue with the stainless KitchenAid uses, as my KitchenAid fridge is a nightmare to clean. Bosch dishwasher cleans up easily. If you are short, you'll never be able to clean the back of the microwave inside. I am 5'7" and have to stand on my toes to reach the back. Element in microwave pulls down for cleaning but would be a disaster if something splatters. Cover your food to avoid that. Besides the cleaning issues I am very happy with the performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Look and Operating Features Bought this appliance along with several other Kitchen Aid appliances. Very stylis. Microwave has convection oven feature. Was told by the installers that the microwave was great and should last a long time only if used as a microwave. The convection oven should only be used occasionally and to do serious baking use the regular oven. Also stared that the preset button/features are microwave killers. Not only is this applicable to Kitchen Aid microwave oven but to all microwave ovens. Light in the microwave oven is a little dim compared to the regular oven. Overall very very pleased with this appliance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy Had ours for 3 yrs and the inverter board died! Have to replace the main board!!! Have to remove oven from cabinet to do so! Also bought the kitchen aid refrigerator and broke after 1yr! I will never buy kitchen aid again! Love lowes not kitchen aid!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Consider separate units! I got KOCE500ESS combined microwave and oven wall mounted unit 4 months ago. From day one the microwave had a strange vibration and high noise level. The technician came in and had to change the microwave fan cap. After waiting for it for 2 weeks, it was repaired. During the repair, the technician had to bring another person with him so that the unit can be taken out for the repair. I suggest consumers to purchase units where the microwave and the oven are separate units. I am also wondering whether KitchenAid has QC process before products are packaged and shipped. Had an nonfunctional induction cook-top waiting for it to be repaired, once again, questioning about the QC process!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great combo unit. We have owned this combo for about 4 months, and I am very happy with it. I love that the microwave is not just a microwave, it's an oven (and can do some minor 'grilling' too), and has a multitude of pre-sets and options. Just remember when you are using the oven feature on the microwave you need to press start again to keep the temp going after the door has been opened. The lower oven is a great size - it is deep enough to fit two 11x17 baking trays side by side. Cooking options include broiling, baking, roasting, convection and non-convection. On the negative side it takes a while to get to temperature. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would never buy this again This was installed the end of November 2015. Temperature test at install was good. Next day "dead". Waited two weeks for parts and when we called the local repair shop designated by Kitchen Aide they didn't know what parts they had in for the fix or when it would be. The next day they called with the parts and came out and did the repair. The main oven was off by 30 degrees! We had to use their "Tool" to boost the temp by 30 degrees whenever we set a cooking temperature. The "convection oven" part wonders all over the temperature set point. We don't really know what temperature we are cooking at. See attached picture. We would NOT RECOMMEND this product! AT ALL! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Would not recommend I have had this oven for 8 months and it has never worked correctly. Does not hold temperature. Have had the control panel and temperature probe replaced. They are now coming to replace the fan. Not worth the money or aggravation!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Addition to our Kitchen! This built-in microwave/convection oven combo has been absolutely fantastic. The upper unit is a microwave/convection oven combination and has a very intuitive control panel that makes it easy to set up the cook time and temp for each of your various items on the additional modes (steam, convection, crisp, etc), while still being VERY easy to use as a microwave. The lower unit is the big oven that is finished in a beautiful blue enamel with stainless steel racks. The racks have a convenient handle that is easy to grab and adjust with a pot holder-ed hand, and it come with a slide out roaster rack that can be moved around. This is our third convection oven unit, and this one is actually the quietest of the other two (both GE models) we have owned. I suppose if you have never used a convection oven before you may be surprised that you can hear an oven cooking..but the fan is usually drowned out by other kitchen/cooking sounds such as a vent hood, running water, casual conversation, etc. I particularly like the solid feel to the handles and door hinges, and the easy, intuitive layout and operation of the controls. This microwave/oven combination was a great purchase and we absolutely love having this in our kitchen. You will not go wrong with this model if you are looking for a well-designed, elegant, and easy to use built-in wall oven (and microwave!).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Microwave not designed well I love kitchenAid products but I would not buy this particular model again or would I recommend. I have a hard time reaching into the top microwave because of the door design. My old unit that I replaced opened from the side and I was easily able to reach for the food and also able to clean. I am very pleased with oven and how microwave cooks but it is very difficult to use microwave. I have to be careful when removing hot microwaved foods. My daughters also agree poor design. I think whoever designed this model was over 6 feet tall!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Microwave fan very load...stay away from KitchenAid!!! Just received my unit yesterday and yes the microwave fan is making a very load grinding sound like it is hitting something. I was hoping this would not happen to my unit after reading other reviews with the same issue but I guess I couldn't be that lucky. I had to replace my old KitchenAid microwave/oven combo since it was not working properly anymore as it was very old and parts were not available anymore. This was the only unit that fit in my cabinet . Otherwise, I would have stayed away from KitchenAid. It's disappointment...the quality is not there anymore. Do not recommend this...stay away from KitchenAid!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the Best We paid for an upgraded "Chef's Kitchen" in our new home. It included this beautiful wall oven/convection oven/microwave. There are several features that really stand out on this oven: The oven has a built-in convection oven and comes with several sensors, cookware and utensils that have been designed for use with this wall oven. Microwave reheat is incredible. It uses a very sophisticated temp sensor that heats food evenly and to just the right temperature for dinner plate reheat, pizza, fish, meat, poultry, and even bread. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fair value for Price I understand this unit retails for around $3500 as it was purchased through my builder. The bottom oven works fine as an oven should but the upper/microwave is very weak and you cannot get a large sized cup in there to heat up vs my very simple GE micro I also have. It takes me twice as long to heat things up as any microwave I have had in the past at a fraction of the cost. I understand in my community others have the same issue because I asked around. So my rating vs price is: disappointing. And there is no pre-programmed per minute settings and no 30 sec setting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great oven, one small design flaw The black stInless used by KitchenAid is what drew me to this oven. A perfect complement to otherwise vintage kitchen. The micro/oven controls are intuitive and I rarely need to consult the somewhat complex instruction manuals. Oven temp is on tArfet and I'm not bothered by the fans that cool down the units after the cycle has been completed. The design flaw is in the overlap of stainless steel pieces at the corners of both the oven and microwave. The overlaps create sharp edges that can snag clothing or resul in scratches to a person opening or closing the doors. Our contractor was able to file the edges to a satisfactory level. This issue should be corrected in what otherwise is a great appliance. . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Wall Oven Ever I love my Kitchen-Aid wall oven. It has been a Pleasure to be able to use this oven microwave combination. It has so many features that I never knew existed. A rotating pan for inside the Microwave? Never heard of. Broiling in a Microwave, wow what a Neat idea. Even comes with a Steaming dish for vegetables. So easy to use and learn new ways of preparing your meals. Did I mention the Convection Oven. Best Homemade cookie and Pies. Perfectly crispy outside and gooey inside. Oh, and it sings to you when its done. Makes me happy. If I ever move this Luxury will come with me. Thanks KitchenAid. I love your products. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks good Well, it looks very nice. The oven takes FOREVER to heat up. I can't imagine why it's so s-l-o-w. The convection microwave is the third one I've owned and I love them. This is the first time I've had one in the same unit with an oven. The Quick Start is for a full minute. That's really too long and when warming something I have to be rreally careful to not overheat it. A little worried about reliability since if one goes out I'm "toast". If you are using either oven the controls for the other part change and are a bit difficult to get accustomed to. A learning curve there. I've just had it a couple of weeks and I really don't cook that much, but it's fine, so far.
