Good Cleaning Tool
Pressure Washer was easy to use. It did a good job cleaning our cement block patio area. We wanted it to clean the green mold that has formed on the vinyl siding on the north side of our home. When we tried it on the green mold, we just used the cold hose water & no extra cleaner. It did a very good job cleaning our vinyl siding.
Our only problem was with the assembly instructions. The connection pieces looked similar so it was difficult to tell what went where. The parts need to be numbered & labeled better.
All in all the K2.Ergo 1600-PSI Electric Pressure Washer does a good job cleaning those jobs around the house. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great for the price
Came well packaged, super simple assembly. I’ve only had it for a few days, will tell if it lasts or not. Used it to wash my deck, worked great. For the people who are saying it’s like a garden hose, that is just nonsense. It’s only 1600psi but that’s plenty for what most people need. For the people saying it’s cheap, it is cheap. It’s not a commercial or industrial unit, if that’s what you need then you shouldn’t have ever looked at this one. It’s a great little machine for occasional household use and at the price you can’t beat it.

I was very impressed with the KARCHER K2 Ergo
'Product provided for review. NOT A PAID REVIEW.
I own another pressure washer by another brand. It offers more features and power, it is also about double the size. It is top notch, so I wasn't expecting much.
I produce a live broadcast online (not recorded normally), and I cover a lot of topics in my talk show twitter: AbiliTV is how you can find out when I go live.
On my broadcast i opened the box - No damage to the box from shipping. Once open you find the paperwork, and manual on top. >> READ THE MANUAL PLEASE <<
All parts come with the unit, and are neatly packaged.
This is a small unit about 15 or 16 pounds and feels solid.
I put this unit together - KARCHER makes it a snap no joking either to put this together.
The handle that extends slides into the back plastic framing for it, makes a nice clicking noise when engaged. The directions are easy to follow.
Next the grab handle snaps onto the unit by sliding it on until you get a nice click sound.
This is NOT a fault as the wheels obviously work that come with this unit.
I would make the wheels more sturdy with a rubber tread on them. I have always bad luck with wheels like this. Could just be me also. Again - this is only my annoyance.
The wheels snap on and while to me they feel flimsy, they work well. I admit the first plastic wheels like this that did not break or keep falling off.
The spray gun is all plastic - it feels like it might be flimsy I thought as I pulled it out and holstered it. It is very light weight.
The wands you get are two:
The non adjustable wand sprays a circular pattern so the water scrubs where you see the circle of spray. No spray is in the center of this nozzle.
The adjustable or as I teasingly call it the flame thrower nozzle - This nozzle has a slow or soft spray - ALL PRESSURE WASHERS that can use a media like soap, bleach, and such will have a nozzle that pray water almost as if out a normal low or no pressure faucet. This allows the soap to be drawn into the pressure washer and gently sprayed onto what ever you want it on.
If you where to use the high pressure spray for this - what ever your media is will not do anything. In effect it would just spray right off.
So thankfully KARCHER as well as nicer brands prevent the media from being wasted while on high blast pressure. Keep in mind the soap, or other media needs to gently go on, and even soak in and the bottle of media will explain exactly how to use it. How long to let it sit before power washing off or if you are to use some other methods to use the media. Each brand of media maker will have different directions.
The spray hose is 19 to 20 ft long I tried to measure it.
The built in cord I think is about 35 or more feet with a 2 prong polarized GFI built in.
Over all I rate the built quality of the unit - 5 stars.
That was my experience last Friday.
Today Oct 2nd I gave this unit one heck of a workout.
The Driveway 25 feet wide and 50 feet long - Concrete
This summer it saw 2 15 cubic yards of natural black premium hardwood mulch. 30 cubic yards total.
Dark grey to black staining left behind. It would eventually fade over a few years. Up near the garage door mold and such from years of not being cleaned.
Also the front walkway - 3 feet wide 30 feet long and always in the shade - concrete mold, moss, and such.
This is a big project by any means.
Hose - make sure you have one long enough to cover the area you wish to power wash. Nothing is worse than running short.
Do not use an extension cord with this unit. That is because most are not rated for 15 AMPS and are a smaller guage wire.
Heavy duty and larger guage 15 AMP cords - these 100 foot cords weigh about 14 pounds. When I am not near a wall outlet I use this type of cord to run any of my high amp devices. I got it for a electric lawn mower. I mention this so if you use an extension cord because you need to.
I use a wheelchair so setup for me is more about making sure the cord and hose are out of the way as much as possible.
MY MISTAKE - Yellow Quick Connect Sleeve and black quick connect nipple. - MY MISTAKE
The YELLOW quick connect comes with a handy little tag on it... When I looked at it I mistook the side towards the hose as being the black quick connect nipple inserted into the YELLOW quick connect sleeve.....
I tried to screw the black QCN (quick connect nipple) onto the the hose, and it would not go on very well or easily. I thought I need to let KARCHER know this...
I try and it leaked pretty back from the YELLOW as it was not on the proper threads (wrong pitch). And, from the black QCN. I turned off the water, and tried another hose. I thought this was a problem. I then used Teflon tape on all threads and very carefully used two channel lock pliers to tighten things down.
Turned on the water, and the other or different hose had hoes in it spraying all over. I was not happy with this
I remove the extra hose and repeat the same tighten down with the pliers. Being careful not to strip the the threads, or break the plastic nozzle out of the machine.
Turned on the water and just a very minor dripping leak now. AGAIN this was my mistake. NOT KARCHER'S fault.
I start the unit up: It is very quick to react, it is quieter than my other pressure washer.
I kept the box and had it proudly displayed for all my neighbors to see.
I brought my show outdoors and soon after starting I see the little tag that came on the YELLOW quick connect. I am sitting looking at it again, and realize the mistake I installed the quick connect backwards. I am a total dork.
I left the set up as it was since I got it working.
I tried the adjustable nozzle and it is very handy to not have. This is the wand to use on soft or low speed spray for the use of soap or other media.
On high it is very nice, and cleans pretty well.
I then swapped to high speed only nozzle this one is the one i used for the day. I started about 1:30 PM and finished about 6:30 PM
Like I said I was going to work this unit out.
It worked flawlessly the entire time.
As I used the unit it ended up constantly in the spray zone and would get soaked. I do not recommend this at all. As it could get water in places not meant to have water.
No pun intended here - I had a BLAST using this unit.
It pretty easy to maneuver and provides reliable steady pressure.
The spray gun handle was SOLID! I was moving it around one handed and dual handed andit was rock solid the entire time.
Love the placement of the lock button.
No leaks at the spray hose side.
To make clear to anyone reading: I was given the product for my review. My review was not swayed by this.
Just want to thank KARCHER for working with Lowe's to make this possible.
Also - I would highly recommend this for RESIDENTIAL USE ONLY -
Light use = Clean your grill, clean the walkway, power wash your patio furniture.
Medium use = Wash a care or two, spray clean a deck, wash your siding on one side of the house.
HEAVY USE = something like I did today. An SUV with a boat, maybe 2 SUVs, Jet skis, Clean out the bottom of you mower decks. Wash the siding of the house four sides.
PRO USE = going out day after day doing these above things. THIS IS NOT MADE FOR THAT.
WHAT I WISH KARCHER INCLUDED
To get users used to the idea that this needs only minimal maintenance - Should include a bottle of KARCHER Pump Saver with directions for use.
Pump Saver is a liquid that you use to pump a small amount through the machine when you are putting it away for the season. This works as a antifreeze and lubricates the parts within it the unit.
It is low in cost compared to forgetting to keep your unit out of freezing temps.
I own the Pump Saver by KARCHER I posted an image just for reference. I will be putting some of that in my unit to overwinter it in my garage or the garden shed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

1600 Cold Water Pressure Washer
Item arrived well packed and assembly of this item was very simple. I recommend to read the instructions and identify the parts prior to starting the assembly. Altogether, reading & assembly took about 15 minutes. Item comes with two different wands that are easily interchangeable. One wand provides the full 1600 psi and we used that on the concrete garage floor and driveway. It worked great. My wife wanted to wash the car so we switched over to the wand that provides adjustable pressure from low to high and again it met our expectations. My wife was not yet done with the pressure washer so we decided to see how it worked on cleaning the swimming pool filters. Staying with the adjustable wand and trying different pressure settings we finished four filters in half the time it normally took with the garden hose and spray nozzle while at the same time using much less water to accomplish the task. The filters never looked this good when using just the garden hose and spray nozzle. Dirt deep inside the filters was removed thanks to the increased pressure.
Additional features provided on/by this product that I liked were (1) The motor quits everytime you release the trigger (2) A very long power cord with an inline GFCI. (3) A 25 foot long pressure hose utilizing quick connect/disconnect connectors 4) Light weight and very versatile (5) Small and compact allowing easy storage (6) Easy to use and my wife loved it. (a big plus) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I bought this product about 1 month ago, have used it a number of times with great success. I used it on my 10 year old stone patio and 30 year old walkway and they look like new again. I definitely recommend this power washer.

Easy To Use Pressure Washer
I have never used a non-commercial pressure washer before. I am definitely not an expert! I received this machine free, courtesy of the Lowes Loop Program. I was a bit hesitant in using it the first time but it was EASY!!
The instructions weren't as clear regarding attaching the "water inlet connector to the unit's water inlet". It shows the diagram but doesn't say it's on the back of the machine.
When it said "Insert the small end of the high-pressure hose into place" what they meant is just pick one end as BOTH ends have a "small end".
The high-pressure hose is hard to unwind at first so be prepared to spend some time loosening this up before attaching it to the machine.
The trigger gun has a very nice locking feature! Easy to use and very handy.
When I first turned this on and it didn't make any sound, I forgot that the motor would not start until the trigger on the gun is pulled!
The "Dirtblaster" nozzle really is EXTREMELY high pressure! When it says "Not recommended for soft materials, siding, painted surfaces, decks or autos" it REALLY means it! If you WANT to remove layers of sealant or stain from your decking, great! Otherwise, use the "Vario Power Spray Wand" and use approved detergent to do the job.
Detaching and draining this machine was pretty easy too. I wish it could be stored in an unheated/uninsulated shed but it says that it's best not to store where it freezes. That must be because there might be residual water left in the unit after use - even after using the "winterizing and long-term storage" instructions?
I suggest using the "Vario Power Spray Wand" the first time using this machine, unless you have used pressure washers before. I made sure to allow myself plenty of time to practice with it.
This machine is exactly what I had hoped it would be - small, portable and easy to use!
I definitely recommend it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
