Description

With a black matte finish, this stylish 1 light wall sconce by Globe adds ambiance to any modern space. It provides convenient illumination for the sofa, desk, or bedroom. Adjust the arm as needed to supply light for activities like reading or working with crafts. The contemporary, industrial design adds visual appeal while the glass shade clearly displays the bulb. I agree with a previous rating that the plate on the wall could be stronger to support the arm and glass shade.

They were easy to install, and the glass shades are thick and well made. They are a nice accompaniment to a modern room with not a lot of decorations.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JimH from OK light. I bought two of these to install as part of a Reno I was doing. I agree with several of the other reviews that the mounting is lacking. The weight of the shade-being glass, shifts the overall weight significantly forward/down, causing the lamp to lean forward off the wall. I don’t understand how there isn’t a 3rd screw on the top to keep it flush. It’s like a 1 cent screw. The second one I tried to install was missing parts to complete the install, so I took it back to the store to exchange. Poor quality control overall for sure. Otherwise, happy with the look of the lights. Too bad the minor details are overlooked.

Option to hardware looks pretty easy to do. I opted to use a 40 watt Edison bulb because 60 is a bit bright for a bedside lamp. The price can't be beat!
