Quick and easy tea kettle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved the electric tea pot. First of all it is so good looking. The way the base lights up is so unique and entertaining to watch. I liked the way the pot easily lifts from the base. It makes it easy to bring to the sink to fill up, and it also makes it easy to serve. It worked quickly, even faster than the microwave. It brewed the tea perfectly when I made a big pot for iced tea, and it worked easily as well when making an individual cup of tea. The optional basket was helpful when brewing a full pot of tea. I really like it and would definitely recommend it to any tea drinker.

Amazing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I feel like I've been making tea completely wrong for years! I've obviously used tea bags, mug strainer, metal tea balls, and so many other products. But this is my first time using a kettle like this. The Hamilton Beach tea kettle is a game changer for me! I easily put my tea in the strainer, fill with water, and let it do it's magic. And magical it is! I'm not second guessing my tea anymore and I can add my loose tea with ease. With a push of a button, it boils the water and the steeping begins. What's great is you can detach it from the base for easy serving. Clean up is simple as well. I am in love with this kettle. Highly recommend

Perfect for holiday entertaining!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have thoroughly enjoyed this tea kettle! I made use of it several times over the holiday season, and thanks to the steeping basket, I was able to offer company a cup of tea, made with lose leaf tea, within a few minutes very easily. It took me a few tries to get the process down, but once I did, it is very easy to use. I also like the auto of feature, so no chance of water boiling off. This would also be great for keeping hot water on hand for hot chocolate. Clean up is not bad either. I am extremely happy with the kettle.

Bueatiful and Useful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I been using my new tea kettle for a while now and love it. I've used tea bags and various loose tea blends. I just put a timer on for how long I want to steep my specific blend. I'm impressed with this kettle and how wonderfully it brews a nice pot of tea! I seem to be the only one in the household that has a problem turning it on now and then or I would give it 5 stars. The kettle looks great and I love the lights. I have even thrown out all my tea strainers since this one is so easy to use and clean.

A Very Civilized Habit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Would you like a cup of tea? Yes. But instead of waiting for the kettle to whistle, you can enjoy a fresh cup of your favorite loose tea or tea bags in a very easy to use and fast boiling electric glass kettle. The glass kettle is cordless and refills are very easy to refresh. The styling and function are examples of Hamilton Beach's fine attention to detail. When you fill the kettle and add the tea, you're basically done, but I like watching the water quickly boil with a delightful blue light emanating from the kettle base. The styling will look great in any modern kitchen. Tea is healthy for you and very easy to prepare with the Hamilton Beach 1.7L Tea Kettle. A very civilized habit indeed!

Best Tea Kettle!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so happy with this Hamilton Beach Tea Kettle. I love the size I can make a lot of tea at one time. It’s so easy to use and is ready quite fast. It boils water under 5 minutes and turns off after it boils. With the tea container no loose leaf tea gets into water. The kettle sits on base and lifts off for easy pouring. I like that the cord wraps under the base for easy storage. I can also use this kettle to just boil water for anything else I need it for.

Fast to heat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was very quick to boil 4 cups of water. I could see us using it as a real timesaver for more than just tea - really anything that necessitates boiling hot water. The only reason I removed a star is a simple oversight. The measurement units are in Liters but standard tea bags in the U.S. have instructions units in cups. I had to get out a measuring cup and measure out the water and then measure out the ice. Not a big deal, but as a time-saving convenience item, would be a simple fix to include cups conversions. In fact, the packaging/instructions of the item shows four different Liter measurements printed on the pitcher, but only two of them are actually printed. This may be a problem for those who use Liter measurements.

1.7L Tea Kettle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first saw this I thought OK, maybe. As far as making my tea in the morning I just use it as a hot pot & it does seem to work faster than my old hot pot which is all metal. When this really comes into use as a teapot is when my wife makes her oolong tea in large batches for ice tea and it works well for that too. As far as design, it is well thought out as far as disassembly & cleaning which by today's standards are sometimes lacking.
