We had this installed last night on our deck it is absolutely beautiful and extremely sturdy.. I wanted something that I could leave in place year round which is why i chose the polycarbonate roof over the fabric ones. I had two installers recommended by Lowe's that did the building of it for me. Unless you are really good at putting together things i would recommend having it done by someone. It took two trained guys about 7 hours to do.. I was really impressed with quality of the screen and curtains. They are both made of a heavy duty material that looks as if it will last a long time.. We have turned our back deck into another room and i really think we will even be able to enjoy it some in the winter with the thickness of the curtains if we open just one side it should be every comfortable out there.. very very happy with my puchase.

Very Happy with my gazebo!!
We purchased this gazebo around a month ago. I wauited a while to write a review so that I could share my experience. I hired my gardner along with another helper to put this up. It took them around 8 hours over 2 days. We have put this in our backyard patio with poles nailed into the ground. It looks very strudy. It has already survived couple of moderate storms. This has given us another room in our backyard and a perfect place to hangout at any point of the day/evening. I sat under it when it was raining and enjoyed the nature. The curtains are thick that can protect the outdoor furniture during rain. The only issue I see is that there is no stopper in the curtain rod so on a windy day, the curtains slide out and drop on the ground. Apart from that, I am extremly satisified with this product. I chose this product because of the roofing, I wanted something that would last us years without having to take off the roof every year and fading..

If you buy 1 buy 2 in case you need parts for 1
I love my gazebo, but if your going to buy 1 you should buy 2... so you have spair parts, A peace of trim around the outside that helps hold the polycarbonate sheets in place was damaged so I called Penguin and they sent me a Quote $203.57 now we are talking about a 58 inch peace of metal. I will attach pictures and the quote. I can't immagen how much a few peaces of polycarbonate sheets would cost.

Nice in fall??
This is not at all what I expected. I was so busy trying to find something that would fit on our 10x12 deck - which it does nicely - I didn't realize the roof doesn't keep the sun out but instead filters it. The day after we installed it was in the 80's and was really hot under the roof but now that the temperature fell, it's nice. So, nice in the fall, and though the roof lets the sun through, I'm hoping I'll be able to find some sort of cover to keep the sun out in the summer.
As for putting it together there is a review on the 10x10 that sums it up. The screws break (especially in one of the earliest steps that says to put screws in then soon after to remove them) and the panels fall out while your installing them. Maybe if you installed one section at a time instead of: all the top panels, then all of the bottom panels (as instructed), you might be able to keep the other panels from falling out when you pound each bottom piece into place. Other than that, my husband installed most of it without help. The roof is where he needed help - mostly to hold pieces in. It took him 8 - 12 hours for him to complete it.

An Older Model - Need Replacement Parts
I bought this similar item approximately 4 years ago from Lowes. 10x12, we love it, but two panels blow off this last year , we were able to find them and put them back on. But this past month the same 2 roof panels blow off and were damaged. We now need to replace them. And this has been such a struggle!! We love our Gazebo but if we can find replacement parts I am going to be very disappointed.
