Rated 5 out of 5 by Paulustrious from Coldplay yellow This was far and away the best price version for a 48" x 1/2" pipe I could find. It comes with adaptors at both ends so either can be male or female. However this means that you MUST apply pipe dope between the adaptors and the pipe. A small tube of pipe dope is supplied, sufficient for the four threads. A small tube of leak detector is also supplied. This means a home owner does not need anything else except for a pair of wrenches and possible a 1.5 inch hole saw. It is very flexible. I am guessing a minimum radius of three inches, If your appliance uses a 3/4" regulator you will need two 3/4 to 1/2 inch black iron adaptors. The picture is slightly misleading. The pipe is covered with yellow plastic (a good thing) with a big yellow warning tag I left for future residents. It installed easily. I have no problem recommending it. It had to be ordered online. There was a delay of ten days in delivery, but this is a product review, not a Rona review so it remains at 5 stars.
