Fuel cylinder is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Been hamerless for years I have had and used my paslode for years, it is a great tool, if you dont have one your wasting alot of time. The gas cartridges are moderately priced, sometimes a little tricky to get loaded, especially for someone who has never done it before. Yes, the expiration date matters. While I have used lots of expired cartidges of gas with little or no problems, my paslode seems to fire better with a fresh new cartridge, than one that is past its expiration date. If you use the older ones, it seems like they dont have the same amount of nailing force. You will need to drive in a nail here and there, and they dont seem to drive as many nails as a fresh cartidge.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Paslode Red Fuel cartridges, bad usage in cold These gas cartridges are fine to use in temperate climates but when you get to 20 degrees F or lower they suffer from non-dispersion of the gas. Much like a butane lighter they must be warmed to activate the gas. I cannot recommend them for use in lower temps. You will be constantly changing warm cartridges in for the cold one in the gun. I tried to get some production in cold weather and gave up on it. I guess I will have to resort to my old Bostich air guns with the hoses and all that entails. I would like to see Paslode make a cartridge with different fuel for use in cold weather.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Store unused cells in you freezer. I learned several years ago that if stored in your freezer that the cells work beyond their expiration date. This was a tip I picked up from a Paslode rep. I now store all of the cells in the freezer until needed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from one cell half full great product. First cell only nailed about 100 nails, second cell on 600 plus need to return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great in my paslode nailer These were easy to find. You should always check the date on the bottom. These cells have a best if used by date. I found some at my lowes that expired in 2007..

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Necessary Purchase Product works well. However after you use it once, the gas will leak out of the cylinder in a few days, even if you take it out of the gun. This stuff ain't cheap either! I guess it 's just another high cost of convenience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Fuel is awesome! I love my nailer and the fuel that powers it. Best purchase ever! I leave my nailer with the fuel cell in it for months. It doesn't leak and I can continue projects whenever I want. I love that I don't need a compressor or anything else to make it work! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Paslode cordless nailer is a great product for carpentry and this gas cartridge is the fuel to make it work. It is reasonable cost and easy to use with the nail gun. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
