Is this range have self cleaning oven
Hi Chris yes this range has a self clean feature. Also both ovens function completely independently of each other so you can roast dinner in one and bake dessert in the other! Thanks

I just bought this oven and noticed that there is a difference in the stove tops in the the 1st image and the 7th image. Is this an accessory for the stove top or are they two different models?

Gas Double Oven Range
We bought this range and had problems with the delivery handling the stove properly. Maytag/Whirlpool stepped up and replaced the entire stove. We love it. BUT the one problem we have is that the knobs to turn on the gas are easily bumped and then turned on.They should have a push detent or something like this so the know can't be turned without pushing it in first. We have been doing a lot of work in our kitchen with the upgrades and have bumped the knobs 3 times without realizing it. Our kitchen smelled like propane. So we have installed a propane gas sensor to alert if this happens. Work on the knob design and you have a great stove!

Works well but expected more
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove looks great - it's an updated version of an electric model I bought 12 years ago. I love the double oven feature. This one has one less shelf in the bottom oven portion which is disappointing. My stove does have some defects, however. There is a small dent on the side of the stove which was reported to Whirlpool by the delivery company. The pain on top of top is really wavy and looks like it was smudged up and then poorly recovered. The back panel of the range looks like it was installed improperly as the tabs are not tucked under the upper piece.

Digital timers
Bought our stove about 6 months ago but haven’t cooked a whole lot as my kitchen is still under construction. When I’ve tried to use the digital buttons I’ve had to push the buttons repeatedly to get to the minutes or temperature I want. For instance to set the timer for 55 minutes I have to push the button 55 times. Holding it he button down May work for a few digits but you have to push really hard. Service Tech was just here and replaced the whole panel and said “that’s the way it is”. He says there’s no fix.
There is a lot about this stove that I do like but fighting with the screen is rediculous. Takes a lot of strength!!!!

Almost perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I am loving this range! It LOOKS beautiful and impressive in my new kitchen, and is a pleasure to use. Double oven is a terrific feature.
It also came with a griddle that fits into the grates and over the center, elongated burner - is a great addition that gets used often.
Negatives: the rack in the smaller oven is difficult to pull out. There's nothing to really grab on to, and it doesn't slide very nicely, so it can be tricky retrieving your casseroles.
As another reviewer stated, the writing on the knobs is printed and simply rubs off with no provocation. I've literally had the stove less that three months, and haven't even used the burner for the knob in question. For a stove of this price and quality, it is an extremely disappointing design flaw.
My plumber was not happy with the install because there was not enough room for the gas line to coil up into the back of the range. He said most gas ranges have a rather large opening in back to accommodate the pipe so it's out of the way, and then the range will fit nicely against the wall. Some interesting finagling with a broom handle, we were able to make it work,
but clearly the product designers at Maytag are slacking a bit in the practicality department. Form follows function my friends!

Ignition issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this stove for about 6 weeks and while it looks amazing, the gas range has issues. The large burner always takes multiple attempts to light. The others can be finicky as well. We had a technician out last week and he said that these newer ranges all experience this issue. The gas leaves the burner at such a high velocity that it becomes harder to ignite. He was unable to remedy the situation. To me, it seems like something that should be easy to fix. It’s very annoying after spending so much on a new appliance. It’s like buying a new car and having trouble starting it every time you get in. It just shouldn’t be like that.

WRITING WIPES OFF THE KNOBS
I have only owned my maytag stove for 5 months. I noticed the writing wipes right off the knobs. I called maytag. They said it is cosmetic but out of the goodness of their heart they would send me two new knobs. i asked for five as obvious the other 3 will also do this. they refused. i did get the two new knobs but now the other knobs writing is disappearing. I have started to go over the writing with a permanent marker, which seems to help. This has to be a problem with Maytag's product. I did not scrub or soak the knobs. I would think twice before I decided to purchase this stove. That being said. The stove itself works fine. I wish the clock were easier to set as it takes forever to get to the right time and I wish I would have bought the stove where the crates were on hinges so you could just lift them up to clean instead of removing the whoel crate.

Love it so far !!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had it now for a month. We love the smaller top oven - use it daily. It’s perfect for broiling, cookie batches and pretty much everything. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly. The only reason it isn’t a five star is the bottom oven goes all the way to the floor - so the handle has to have a towel on it so it doesn’t hit. The installer said it couldn’t go any higher. Also because the stovetop is black it shows ever crumb and grease spot.
Overall I would definitely recommend it and just love having two ovens in such a compact space.

Great for two ovens
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First we did not realize that only the top oven has a broiler, I would of bought a different one if I had realized that flaw. My prime rib at Christmas is never going to fit in that small oven and it is a serious flaw.
We have only been using a month and it is summer so not a lot. I have had trouble with the top oven cooking once. It never heated up until I turned it all off and started over, so watching that closely.
The cook top is nice, I do wish it had two large burners, apparently whoever designs these does not cook for large groups with large pans. The 3 smaller burners kind of suck. IT is quiet, still not sure we really like it. Extremely annoyed none of us realized the broiler was only in the small oven. Very disappointed. So we will see.
