Slide in Gas Range
When looking for a slide in, smudge proof model, this oven was highly recommended. As you cannot use the stove prior to purchase, we were unaware of a few annoying issues. When the oven is used, the fan starts immediately and continues until about 1 HR after use. This is very loud and disturbing, especially when entertaining. The fan is loud and within distance of the dining area. Had we known this, we would never have purchased. Also, while the rack inside with auto slide out is convenient, it is cumbersome to change for lowering the rack. I wish I would have known these issues as it would have affected our decision to purchase.

Terrific Buy!
This product looks and cooks like a professional range from Viking, or Miele. The controls are easy to use, I especially like the ball bearing slide out oven drawer, makes it really easy with a heavy turkey or platter.
Perfect fit for a 30" rehab.
This does not have an oven temperature LED readout as most professional stoves do not, but does have a light that comes on when the oven is lit to temperature. Also has a quick preheat option if you are in a hurry.
The burners are really hot and have a nice, slow consistent movement to lower the gas.
The 5th center burner is also very nice. Two built in timers are also nice feature.
Its a really, really nice stove for the money.

Worst Stove
I purchased the entire professional series. The stove is the reason I returned it all. It did not work the day I got it. The warming element would not turn off. I plugged it in made sure all the knobs were in the off position and tried to clean the top. BURNT my hand. We had to keep it two weeks before I could get a replacement(another brand). So I had to keep plugging and moving every time I used it. Also the other review is correct.....you can not tell what the temp is in the oven. The cook top is impossible to keep clean. It has a metal ring around it where all the crumbs and debris collect. To clean that I had to wrap towel with a knife and go around the edge.

Love it, but......
I bought my Frigidaire range approx one month ago. I love the look of it, I love the cook top capabilities, I love the 6 burners. I love the adjustable gliding shelf. However, in my range, the adjustable gliding shelf is too tight, so whenever you move it, it chips the black paint or ceramic lining off the inside of the stove. Under warranty, Frigidaire sent me a Brand New Range. Guess what?? It did the SAME thing. I am too embarrassed to get a third new stove, I've never exercised a warranty before this. Plus I think if I did get a third it would do the same. I went back to where I bought it from and I have ordered a different range. I am very disappointed as I truly loved everything about it except the chipping of the inside of the oven.

good value ?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the look and performance of a higher end standalone, I would give it a 4, except for two items.
1. The all stainless top is pretty, but as opposed to a glass top- is a real pain to keep clean. Buyer beware if you are a true user of the gas top.
2. Oven temp. Have ongoing issues. Simply cannot keep mid temps. anything near 325-350 doesn't stay up, and stays at near 200 degrees. I have to set control to over 400 to get it to heat, then it obviously overheats and it is a yo-yo of burned, suspect or undercooked food. Not sure what to do- stumped.

STOVE WON'T TURN OFF!
Has anyone had this problem? We made cookies this past weekend and when finished back turned off the oven. A few hours later I came back to the oven and found that it was still very warm. The oven was turned off but it was still hot. Whe I woke up Sunday morning it was still hot. I turned the oven back on to 350 degree for about 15 minutes then turned it off and it cooled down finally.
Anyone ever have this problem? Meanwhile I'm still waiting for my microwave to be repaired, its been 3 weeks now. Not having high hopes for my Professional line of Frigidaire. Let's not forget the refrigerator which I also had replaced for another model because the F model was too loud.

Love the stove top, not the oven
The burners are dependable and powerful. The controls are easy to understand. One small thing: the rubber feet on the grates kept on falling off, so I had to glue them in. As for the oven: I am a baker, so I need to set my temp precisely. Three points: Oven calibration was VERY low when I got it, and I had to adjust it manually. Second: the temp control knob is marked in 50 degree increments, thus setting the temp to 325 or something in between is very difficult. Third: when using the oven for an extended time, it sometimes makes a VERY loud noise, possibly the fan.

Looks nice, functions poorly
I've had this for 6 months now and agree with many other reviews on here that the timer is too quiet, but I haven't seen many talking about how long it takes to preheat this oven. And even worse is that you can't see the temperature progression on the screen! There's no way to tell how close it is to reaching the temperature you've set other than a small "Preheat" light. Combine this with the extremely quiet sound it plays when it's reached the temperature setting you wanted and you will for sure have your oven idling for no reason because you won't know when it's ready unless you are right next to it the entire time.
