Linoleum and vinyl flooring are made from different materials but have much in common. Both are durable and easy to lay and provide years of long lasting performance. Linoleum flooring consists of natural materials and comes in sheets or snap-together tiles. Vinyl comes from PVC resin and offered in flexible vinyl rolls or as rigid planks. Linoleum has good water resistance but vinyl is more waterproof. Ceramic floor tiles are another option, they are extremely durable, last longer, and are impervious to water.
