Good addition to my Karcher power washerI have owned an electric Karcher power washer a several years but did not have the surface cleaner attachment. I now have a large concrete driveway & turnaround and I needed something to speed up the cleaning process. I found the surface cleaner on line and delivery was made to a local Lowes store.
It works as advertised and save hours over the use of the standard spray attachments

ONLY for Karcher electric pressure washers!I have a Craftsman pressure washer with a gasoline engine (Briggs & Stratton 6.75, 2,550 psi, and 2.0 GPM). My pressure washer has the M-22 wand with a quick-disconnect end that probably 99% of the gas engine pressure washers have. I purchased this Karcher T-250 online (and it was shipped to me) because of the apparently durable construction, good reviews, and the fair price.
I then returned it because it is not designed to work with 99% of the gas engine pressure washers manufactured, meaning that it will not connect to the end of the standard M-22 wand with the standard quick-disconnect attachment end. In fact, the wand extension pieces are apparently a proprietary design that will ONLY connect to Karcher electric pressure washers.
The instruction booklet inside the box also explains that the maximum pressure rating for this T-250 model is 2,000 psi. This is further evidenced by the fact that all of the underside components are plastic. A phone call to Karcher technical support yielded this helpful advice: Please don't use this T-250 with any pressure washer with greater than 2,000 psi because the surface washer will literally explode.
This surface cleaner appeared to be of more-than-acceptable quality and would probably work very well with a Karcher-brand electric pressure washer. However, be advised that it WILL NOT WORK with the vast majority of gas engine pressure washers in production.
By phone, I spoke with a GREAT Lowe's customer care department employee (Pernell) who diligently recorded my story and promised to pass it onto the "internet team" that is responsible for the content of these webpages. He stated that they would update the webpage to reflect these details, in order to save any future purchasers the frustration of my experience. The Service Desk return was handled perfectly at the local store by a friendly & helpful employee (Mt. Juliet, TN).
Lowe's has great products, great service, and good prices. This experience was only slightly annoying & frustrating and the Lowe's internet team probably just listed the product description information from the outside of the item's box (which says nothing about the item's maximum psi rating, the proprietary connection design features, or electric pressure washer use exclusivity). While I spoke with Pernell about a week, this webpage doesn't seem to be updated yet.
As a "replacement" surface cleaner, I ordered online & have received a 15" Powerfit from Walmart for $62.99 plus sales tax. It is designed for gas engine pressure washers, has a quick-disconnect attachment fitting that will work with the standard M-22 wand, and has a maximum rating of 3,300 psi. While I haven't yet used it, it appears to be VERY sturdy and will, most likely, be of great service to me. It appears to be IDENTICAL to the Briggs & Stratton model sold by Lowe's, the Yamaha model sold elsewhere online, as well as the Power Care model sold by Home Depot.
Additionally, do NOT purchase a Karcher T-350 model for use with your non-Karcher-brand gas engine pressure washer - doing so voids the Karcher warranty - see the reviews on the Home Depot website. The Karcher T-350 also costs much more than the Powerfit/Yamaha/PowerCare/B+S models.
Conclusion: if you have a Karcher electric pressure washer, this T-250 might be perfect for you. If you have a Karcher gas engine pressure washer, the T-350 might work well for you. But if you have ANY other brand gas engine pressure washer, do NOT purchase either the T-250 or the T-350 models!
