Best DIY SprayerThe Wagner Flexio HVLP paint sprayer has everything you could want if your looking to paint Inside or outside your home. Im not a professional painter by any means, but I am on a tight budget, so paying a painter was out of the question, and using a brush and roller would turn my weekend off of work, into a weekend of work. IF YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS the sprayer is will preform excellent. Clean up took 20 minutes and Im very satisfied with the purchase. So all in all, great sprayer , smooth finish, latex paint sprayed no problem, easy to clean, and as easy to use as a sprayer can be.

Sprays thick paint no problemBorrowed my brothers old Wagner spray gun to paint the outside of my garage but the 220 model did not have enough power to spray the thick acrylic latex paint i bought. Decided to give the 570 model a try and it worked like a champ. One tip which the manual recommends is to wipe off the spray nozzle occasionally but i would recommend doing it every time you refill the paint pot, also wipe off the "ears" that stick up around the nozzle, if you let paint build up on those it will distort the spray pattern and cause a lot of over spray - it only takes a few seconds with a wet rag. Over all a great little gun for the money.

Stopped Working Correctly in 3 hoursPurchased this today July 31 2016. Brought it home, read all directions got it all set up and started painting. It was working very well and was pleased with it. After about 45 minutes it kept getting clogged up and was spattering paint every where. Followed trouble shooting guide to a "T". Started working again and in about 15 minutes it was spattering all over. This time I took it apart, gave it a good cleaning and put it all back together which is very easy. Filled with paint and it was spattering paint every where. Got all over my basement floor which was not a huge deal but this thing is terrible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Wagner needs to go back to the drawing board wit this one.
Will be going back to Lowes tomorrow.

When it works it's greatIv had this unit for two years and only used it three times. I stained 30ft. Of deck railings, worked great. Stained a gazebo, worked great. And the walls on my basement steps, very small area and worked great. The unit still looks good hardly any paint on it. It's was always cleaned up right away. Went to use it after sitting for a year. I put water in the tank to make sure it was working and it was so I switched to paint sprayed almost a two foot strip and the motor blew sparks and black soot out. It looked up. Sounded like a barring went out. I don't think I over used it. For it not to last.

Is Heavy, but paints wellThis sprays very well. Tilts the spray from horizontal to vertical. Functions very well while spraying down, due to the design of the pick up tube in the paint container. It is heavy to hold and paint a lot. Arm fatigue will develop, regardless of your strength. Clean up is easy, but there are several small parts that make up the nozzle and they must be reassembled correctly. Large jobs will require frequent refills of the container. The painting is fast, but refills will slow things down a bit.

Easy to use, but poor resultsI was ecstatic when I bought the Wagner FLEXiO 570 and couldn't wait to try it. I had 5 new doors to paint with (gasp) Behr Premium Plus Ultra semi-glass white interior paint. I followed the directions, and filled the cup and began painting. The paint pattern was heavy to the right side when painting with a horizontal pattern, so I switched to the vertical pattern, and it was heavy to the bottom. This resulted in large splatters on the heavy side. I had to go over all the doors with a brush afterwards to smooth out the splatter marks.
I also tried this sprayer with Valspar Signature Paint & Primer in a flat wall paint. I had the same results with the uneven spray and resulting splatter. I even tried thinning the paint with water, same results, smaller splatters.
This unit will unfortunately be going back to Lowe's. Here's to hoping for an easy return, and the continued use of traditional painting techniques. Better grab some new rollers while I'm there...

Easy tom use once the settings are correctIt works very well and makes a little paint cover a large area. But unless you take a few moments to get the flow and air adjustments correct for the weight of what you are spraying, you'll have issues like dribbling paint out of the nozzle and loads of overspray. This can ALL be avoided.
