Snap-in filter is rated 2.6 out of 5 by 55.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple installation and cost effective I bought 3 different guards to see which was easiest to install, most cost effective and which would be most effecinent at keeping junk out of the gutters. Hands down this met my needs best. Easy to install although I did use tapping screws (2 for each section) to secure the guards in place. (Drilled pilot holes first). These are also the most cost effective. As for effectiveness I'll have to wait for the next storms but with the fine mesh sandwiched in I don't see how debris will get through. One additional feature I like is the low profil when fixed in place. I really like these and will return the others.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not work for me Since they are very inexpensive i decided to just buy them vs trying them first. Big mistake! They do not work for my gutters, the click in on one side on the other side they should be either kept in place by screw i'd have to put in or just rely on tension. And let me tell you this plastic will not withstand the changes in temperature (Florida in my case( and will eventually change shape and snap out and be useless... On the other hand, i tested the wire one from the same company and the tension based installation seems to work. Just buy one of each and test them on your gutters! Rated 1 out of 5 by from dark colors NOT for hot sunny climates only because the local Lowes didn't didn't carry the dark brown ones in stock, I bought a few white ones and installed them in a predominantly sunny spot to see how they worked. They seemed to work flawlessly, stood up to my Florida heat/sunshine and looked great, so I ordered two cases of the dark brown ones I needed. Well the dark brown ones DO NOT like hot direct Florida sunlight. While they did well through fall, winter, by late spring the hot-melt glue adhered screens began to come loose. Come June and July the entire PVC gutter and screen sagged/collapsed into the gutters.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turned the gutter into a waterfall These screens shed water almost as fast as it rolled down the roof. Almost worked as well as removing the gutters! I have a normal ranch style house 60' X 25', 5/12 pitch, not a huge or steep roof, but had to remove them, too much water flows over the gutters. I do think the roofers had left the shingles overhang the drip edge about 1 inch, that might contribute. On my porch with a smaller roof, less water flowing, it did not have the problem. But the same filter that keeps leaves out also keeps water out!! I wasted time and money trying them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great solution for the price i installed these 9 years ago and they work well. This summer is the first time I ever inspected and cleaned the gutters. We live literally in a small clearing in the woods. Gutters were surprisingly clean after 9 Years. Can’t claim they’d work in every scenario, but they worked great for me. You can see in one pic the plastic screen on the back side has come loose, but no funtional degradation. Installation (as well as removal and reinstallation) could not be easier! Clip in the gutter edge and slide under the shingle. Great value!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Easily Warps from Hot Sun, Downpours After one year, almost every gutter cover I installed had warped and collapsed, leaving a mess of twisted covers that must be replaced. This total failure seems to be due to a combination of hot summer sun, heavy downpours, and 5 inch wide gutters. I live in the southern US where hot sun and downpours are common. Also, my 5" gutters mean that less of the cover is protected or made rigid by the roof shingles. The plastic in these covers is not durable or strong enough to survive hotter temperatures and the covers are not deep enough for 5" gutters. This is just a cheap, out-of-date product design. Do not waste your money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product to Keep Gutters Clear I just purchased one leaf screen yesterday and installed it. Went in perfectly. Was able to slip it up under the shingles and snap on to the gutter. Could not decide whether to put screen up or down, but put facing up (the way it is supposed to be). Went back today and purchased another 6 to finish the run over my garage. They are not 36", but 35 1/2" long. So plan accordingly. I had to cut the last one to make up the difference at the end. Cut easy with a pair of good scissors. Took about 30 minutes to clean out the gutters and install all 7. Will avoid having to clean out my gutters several times a year in the fall. Recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 Houses I see that people are having run off issues. I have had these on the last two homes and they work great. No leaves, and the rain stays in the gutter even during heavy rain. One solution to these issues that I do anyway, is to make sure the lip on the product is in the up position. If it is down in the gutter and the flat "no-lip" part is on top, then yes... of course the rain is not going to enter the gutter and it will go over the side... Just don't do it that way and you will be as impressed as I am.
