What is the size of the drawer on bottom of stove? Does this stove have a timer to set to cook food in oven? Time on and time off. Need answer ASAP as I want to purchase today.
We don't have the dimensions of the drawer readily available. The range does have a cook time feature where you can set the time and the oven will shut off once the time is complete

Doesn’t live up to the name
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought this as a replacement to our 14 year old range that worked flawlessly until the main board gave out. We have another Maytag kitchen appliance so thought this would match.
We bought it without looking at anything else, because when you have no stove, time is of the essence.
The knobs are cheap and have no lights. The burners run from too cold to burning. I don’t think I will ever work it out they cycle from either off or all the way on.
The oven seems to run colder than it reads. I will buy an oven thermometer.

Simple but, Adequate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this range would not have been my first choice but, it is neat and tidy in appearance and had what I wanted in features. Because of the pandemic my first two choices were backordered so I settled on this one. I like the knobs being on the upper portion as apposed to at waist level. I found it is not as well made as my previous range by Kenmore. Bottom drawer does not hold as much and is not easy to pull out. I also find that it takes a much longer time to preheat to desired temperature and I'm not sure it is accurate. All in all it is OK and I hope it lasts as long as my previous range.

No Slides on Bottom Drawer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the bottom drawer almost every day to store my non-stick pans and cast iron frying pan. It does not pull out as easily as my last range, and to my surprise, there are no ball bearing slides on the drawer, just cheap plastic. Who would have thought that on a range that looks this high-end, the drawer would be sub-standard. This will be an aggravation for as long as I own the range.
Not to be all negative, I do like the absence of a heating element on the oven floor. It will be easier to clean without it, though I haven't figured out how baking is accomplished without the lower element, but the oven seems to work fine.

Beautiful, Easy to clean, love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this oven a few weeks ago. It looks beautiful in my kitchen. It’s easy to keep clean. The stainless finger print resistance is awesome. The thing that caught my eye while shopping was the 10 year warranty and the coverages. The elements heat up quick. The warming element is awesome. Love the big knobs. ThEre isn’t an element on the bottom so it’s easier to wipe it out. Highly recommend you buy it. The price was great. The bottom drawer slides in and out easily. My house is progressively becoming all Maytag! Just bought the refrigerator too.

Ceramic Cooktop is Fussy and Hard to Clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After only two weeks of use my ceramic cooktop is marred. I spilled raw egg on the cooktop in two places and failed to notice it on the hot burner right away. When the burner cooled enough to clean, I could not remove the egg stain from the cooktop using the appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques as provided in the manual that came with the range. The following day, I used the same ceramic cleaner but rubbed harder and as a result, some of the cooktop finish came off in one area. The other area continues to carry the egg stain which will not come off. I have had ceramic cooktops before, and have been able to remove stains without affecting the finish of the cooktop. I find the cooktop on this range particularly fussy and hard to clean.

Looks Great & Performs as Expected
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We purchased this range after doing a lot of research, we wanted to stay with a certain price range and this stove exceeds our expectations. Yes, it's basic, but this is what we wanted. One neat feature I love is that the oven light automatically comes on when you open the oven door. The timer and at-heat sounds are like a tune and very hard for me to hear in another room - definitely not a deal-breaker for me though. This oven does not have any sort of convection or fan, however, I have not had any issues cooking anything and I can actually fit some of my big roasting pans in the opposite way which allows me to cook more dishes at once.

Stove top hot when oven is on
I recently purchased a maytag stove. I was very concerned about the fact that when you have the oven on at 350, the top of the smooth top stove gets to 180 and is very hot to touch. I have friends and family that have different kind of smooth top and this is not a problem for them at all. We called in to the service center and all they could tell us is that the unit will get hot but nothing indirectly relating to the smooth top. She said we can send out a service person but if he feels that this is normal you will have to pay for the call. I don't feel this was very good customer service at all. There should be a standard set on what is a safe temperature for the top of a stove when the oven is only being used. We just want to have a stove that is safe for our family.

I am disappointed!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am very disappointed in my new stove. My 20 year old Frigidaire was much better insulated. When using the oven, the top and sides become extremely warm, almost too hot to touch. The oven door does not really close tightly and the service man said that’s the way they all are. The metal panels, bottom drawer are quite flimsy. I definitely would not want to use the oven in the summer. The cooking surface is okay, but overall I am not pleased with my stove. Displays and dials are not intuitive.
