WAIT NO LONGER FOR HOT WATER TO WASH YOUR HANDS!
I added a 2 piece bathroom in the back part of my house. Running a long hot water line to the new sink was not part of the plan. All I needed was one cold water line to service the whole area.Space was limited.... the small sink and cabinet were perfect and the hot water heater snuggled in beside the sink. This freed up the area under the sink for cleaning supplies etc.It is WONDERFUL having instant warm water to wash your hands. Setting the temperature so that the water is perfect for hand washing without having to use the cold water makes it even more desirable. Great addition to my home. No more waiting and wasting water.

2 Foot Cord
This product is equipped for a 120 volt circuit. The electrical cord is approximately 2 foot long. I found this length unusual because, I have never seen an electrical socket underneath a sink; consequently, the cord was expected to be long enough to be routed to the nearest outlet. My first impulse was to adjust for this unusually short cord by purchasing an exception cord. That idea was thrown out after reviewing the manual; it states not to use an exception cord and to rewire the electrical box for a direct line if the cord does not reach. Unless, you intend on rewiring the electrical box, I DO NOT recommend this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The heater requires dielectric unions when installed with metallic pipe. Rona does not carry them. We went to a large reputable supplier and bought 2. The female thread of the union does not extend all the way to the inside shoulder, but stops about 5mm short. The male spigots on the unit are fully threaded, so when the parts mate the shoulder of the union is about 5mm clear of the sealing washer. The spigot on the unit should have a plain (core size) section to take the fittings available. Alternatively suitable unions or adaptors should be supplied or available. Presently, the unit when coupled up leaks at those joints. We have tried both PTFE tape and a sealing compound, but naturally neither works on a parallel thread. We tried the "chat" for the manufacturer and "Gilbert" does not understand what we are saying.
A second problem is with mounting the unit to the supplied bracket. If you should try one of these, then test assemble the mounting bracket into the unit off the wall. There is a hard adhesive layer which prevents this and it needs to be removed when the unit is resting on something. "Gilbert" did not understand this previous problem either. This seems to be an example of people having the ability to buy and sell a product without actually understanding it, - depressingly common.

Hot water tank bottom bulged.
Hot water tank was delivered promptly. Th bottom of the tank enclosure is bulged and this make the tank unstable when the tank is installed.
