One unfix-able flaw. I wish I had not bought this
This unit worked on installation heats three applications at once, and works well-- except for one fatal flaw. The flow rate of hot water to activate the heater is set (in the software) at .8 gallons per minute. I'm not sure why the designers chose this rate, but what it means for me is that anytime my wife or kids take a shower, they can choose either hot or cold, but not warm. Almost all showers put out the same amount of water, you just mix the hot and cold water until you are happy with the temperature. Both of my showers run at about 1.25 GPM, so if my son uses half hot and half cold, that's .625 GPM, which means no hot water comes out. My only solution to this problem is to buy a shower head that uses more water (or monkey around with the existing ones so they put out more water). The end result is that I will spend a dollar more on water to save twenty cents in gas... (or whatever). In short, I doubt this water heater will save me much money in the end, if any at all. This could have been avoided if the programmer would have typed a .6 in the coding instead of a .8-- or make the flow rate adjustable. Poor design renders a poor product. Let me know if you find a way to jailbreak this thing, tech support couldn't help.

Had it installed for six months and now it keeps resetting itself to factory settings. Some times it works and sometimes it don't. . Called customer service and they told me to de scale it. Opened it up the hole inside was rusted up
