Dyna-Glo Smoker
Easy assembly, cooks great. I've owned several smokers, however the Dyna-Glo smoker exceeded my expectations and it cook better than any smoker I've used in the past.

Just what the doctor ordered!
I’ve had 5 smokers since purchasing this new one. My last one lasted 4 weeks before giving it to my son. The one previous to that lasted 6 yrs before the bottom fell out due to rust. I used it all the time. I’m expecting my new one to last just as long. It’s easy to keep the temperature within 5 degrees. The water pan holds enough water to last hours of smoking(which is why I gave my son the last one since I had to refill the water pan every 40 minutes). The gasket around the doors keeps the smoke in and keeps the temperature constant. Very much worth the cost!

Faulty design
I bought this from Lowe's a year ago and even called the company to find out why the smoker will not get below 240 on one burner on low and even they couldn't help me.
The other issue is the smoker tray is too far way from the burner and I have to crank it up to get it smoking, exacerbating the heat issue. They could solve this by offering a deeper smoker box.
I like the smoker chamber integrity and the seal is really good. I really wanted to like this smoker better as it has many f=good features but a smoker that will not get below 240 is useless for brisket and pork shoulder.

from skeptical to impressed
Background: I own a dynaglo charcoal grill and cursed the whole time I assembled it (swore I'd never buy another dynaglo product) but my smokehollow smoker finally gave out - ordered a new smokehollow and it was so badly damaged I just returned it to the store - considered a landmann but they don't offer a dual door configuration - found the dynaglo online for $236 and I liked the fact it had door seals so reluctantly I placed my order - it shipped fast, was very well packaged, not a bit of damage - so here's what I like most - keep in mind all these "cheap smokers" are made of thin steel, but this dyna felt thicker than my smokehollow and the door has beveled edges that give it a very solid feel, the door has a seal (others don't) the door "latches" shut (some use magnets - yuck) it has an adjustable smoke stack (many don't) the wood pan is large enough for chunks (not just chips) this will allow smoking large meats without constant tending - I personally wouldn't own a smoker without duel doors (allows you to add wood and water without losing precious heat and smoke) the picture looks like the controls mount to the legs, but they don't the controls are surrounded by it's own rectangular housing that attaches to the base of the cabinet (I like this - means I can use it without the legs) I would expect this unit to hold up well based on my smokehollow experience - but I intend to do some mods (and this smoker is built in a way that will allow me to do that fairly easily) example these 'cheap' smokers are assembled with some small screws which are usually impossible to get unassembled in the event a part needs to be replaced - I plan on drilling out the holes and using larger bolts and nuts which should insure this smoker will last a long time (I usually don't write long reviews and I could go into more detail, but I'll end with compared to other smokers I'm very impressed)

Love this smoker! Best investment!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this smoker in Dec. 2016. I used it about 15 times so far. It is so easy to cook with this smoker. I've cooked deer meat, sausage, whole chickens, whole turkey, all kinds of beef meat cuts, various types of fish, veggies, etc., etc. I've even used my cast iron skilllet with grillin beans and deer ground meat. Smoked Turkey bacon marinated with my special sauces and spices is one of my favorites! The mouth-watering flavor in the food is just outstanding. My favorite wood to use is pecan chunks. I've blessed about 8 - 10 different families so far with the extra food I cook. I've received only positive feedback. Some have even offered to buy the meat so I can cook it for them!
Lastly, I store it in my garage when not in use. My kids think I'm weird because several times a week I go in the garage and just sniff the smoke stack a couple of times before I go back in the house. Love that smell! Makes me want to fire it up again. Can't wait for my next smoke!

You can fit a full brisket on the rack without having to cut it in half! It's hard to find smokers that can accommodate a full brisket or rack of ribs. Went together fairly easy. Does not say to spray or wipe down the interior with cooking oil/spray before first use, but I would recommend it. 2 Burners mean fast heat-up. I used mine on a breezy day and had no problems. Make sure you turn burners off BEFORE lighting. Turn on gas first, THEN burners or it will take 3X as long to cook/smoke!!!

two doors, temperatures at 225 without issue
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seasoned and have smoked 3x so far over past 2 weeks since I got it. Everything has turned out perfect. Got a packer brisket ready to go next.

Can't hold heat in winter or if windy.
I believe I accidentally wrote my review on the single burner version of this, but I own the double. I have tried again and again with this product. Only once have I been able to get the heat to optimal temperature. Otherwise, it is practically impossible to get it hot enough. I'm literally trying to smoke pork ribs as we speak, and I can't get the temperature above 150. It is beautiful out in Calgary right now and no wind. I'm very disappointed in the product and would not recommend.
