Do I need the junction box and the plumbing accessories kit with this dishwasher?
Hi KarenCG, Thank you for your question. Yes a Junction box is required and can be purchased through 1877-403-3185. The parts required to complete the installation are Elbow connection with 3/4” female hose threads on one end and fits your water supply line (copper tubing, compression fitting, or braided hose) on the other.
Hot Water Supply Line - Minimum 3/8″ O.D. copper tubing or metal braided dishwasher supply line.
Only needed if house water supply line is not sufficient.
Shut-off valve and fittings appropriate for hot water supply line (copper tubing/compression fitting, or braided hose). Hope this helps.

WORST DESIGN EVER
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher does not air dry, and that might be okay if the shelves were better designed. The top of every cup and glass has a puddle of water left on it, and pans or bowl washed standing on their side also have several ounces pooled inside. The manufacturer knows this, as the user manual tells you to empty the machine from the bottom rack up so that the water spilling down wont land on the clean dishes. I have to keep a dish drainer on my counter top above the dishwasher to finish drying items I remove from the machine, and the floor in front of it is constantly spattered.

HATE this dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely hate this dishwasher. I wish I had never bought it & had exchanged or returned it while I could. It is absolutely nauseating how terrible it stinks. It mildews dishes left in it more than a day. I have to run or barely full just to keep it from ruining my dishes.
The tine setup, especially on the bottom rack, renders it virtually useless. The middle rack has little clearance - you can barely fit a full sized glass in it. Definitely won’t accommodate any type of insulated, Tervis style, tumblers.
Biggest appliance regret I’ve ever had!
Only plus is how quiet it is.

super quiet but installation requires a fitting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dishwasher is wonderfully quiet. That said, installation could have been made easier by the manufacturer. For some stupid reason they do not include the elbow connector with "3/4 on one end with compression connector" that connects to your incoming water line. Of course you don't know this until you start installing and/or read the directions inside the packing container. I also needed an adapter for the waste disposal since Bosch's connector was only 3/4 in and my old disposal in 7/8 in but maybe this is a common issue with other dishwashers/disposals.

Bosch Is the Best
Just purchased this Bosch dishwasher and first impressions are excellent. We already have a Bosch at the cottage and we love it. The third rack is great for utensils when loading and unloading since it is positioned at the very top. Installation was a little challenging because the dimensions of the bosch did not match the old dishwasher exactly. I had to make a few modifications to get it to fit. The dishwasher runs very quiet. Stacking the dishes took some time to figure out what dishes would fit in what spaces. Overall very pleased. Time will tell how long this Bosch will last.

Super Quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed to replace our dishwasher that sounded like a mack truck when in use. Relatives suggested I check out the Bosch line of dishwashers, so I researched the various models and selected the Bosch 100 and very happy with our purchase of this unit; what a difference over our old noisy unit, only way we know its running by the red light glowing on the kitchen floor. Installation way easy, we like the controls on the top of the door and easy to set.

Disappointed with my Bosch 100 series dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After doing research, and checking Consumer Reports, we went with the Bosch 100 series which was CR best choice. We replaced our 23 year old Kenmore dishwasher.
The biggest positive, is that the new washer is ultra quiet. You barely here it running. The top tray for silverware is also a nice feature.
A few negatives that we are seeing:
1. Drying capabilities are poor. We typically run the washer before going to bed. In the morning, the silverware and dishes are still damp. Never had this problem with the old unit.
2. The draws seems very low quality. They do not slide in smoothly. You need to give a tug to get them to roll out.
3. The detergent dispenser did not work when you use the delay start. It works when you start it manually. Called Bosch. The sent out a tech to fix it. He told me he would need to take the dishwasher out so he could get to the back of the unit. Because of out hardwood floor it was tight getting it installed. He told me I would need to remove a couple of pieces of the hardwood so he could get it out. I would have to do it or hire a flooring person to do it. I wasn’t doing that, so we now start it manually.
4. Overall quality is not what we would have hoped for.
Maybe we just got a bad unit, but I would hesitate to purchase another Bosch dishwasher.

Would Return if I could
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very expensive machine and supposedly very good. I am currently investigating how to access the service plan I paid extra for because today, just 2 months after installation, it will not start. Internet says it is probably a burned out control panel and that this is not unusual for this machine. You set the clean cycle and push start, but it never starts. On top of this issue, I an very unhappy with the rack setup inside. Unless you are cleaning good china which is usually thinner than most daily use dishes, it is very hard to fill the machine or find places to put dishes because there is not enough places for normal size dishes. Glasses do not sit well in the upper rack, so i have to put most of them in the lower rack and take a chance on the turning over and filling with water. The only thing I really like about the machine is the silverware rack and how quiet it is. Bosch you got that right.

Unlucky from
Unlucky
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered our new dishwasher a month ago and are still handwashing. There was an issue with delivery, so there was a delay. We have had 2 repair visits already, and now have to replace the control board. The whole reason for buying a Bosch was to avoid repairs. Ha ha! The joke's on us! I hope you're lucky than we are if you buy this.
