Description

DAP(R) Concrete and mortar filler and sealant is a premium-grade, siliconized latex sealant specifically formulated to quickly repair cracks in concrete and masonry. The silicone improves adhesion, water resistance and effectively keeps out air and moisture. It forms a weather-resistant, watertight seal that helps prevent water and ice damage. In addition, it dries to a light color similar to new concrete and blends in with most types of masonry surfaces. This safe, latex-based formula can be water cleaned and resists cracking and crumbling.

Concrete and Mortar Filler and Sealant - 300 ml - Gray is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 109.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from It soaked up water and never set properly I asked the Lowe's staff about this product prior to purchasing and the lady seemed to be pleased with it. I used it to fill a exterior crack in the concrete sidewalk. A few days later we noticed a white/gray staining on the side of the sidewalk where the sealant is washing away. The sealent is now all waterlogged and not protecting the crack at all. We also used some quickrete sealent on the same crack at the same time and it is doing wonderfully. We will be pulling out all of the DAP sealent and replacing it with the Quickrete product which is much more durable. I believe this DAP sealent is more similar to interior products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 1/8 oz concrete crack sealant great product. easier than caulking a bathroom or small area because you use it outside! just need a caulk gun a utility knife and long nail. follow instructions. clean the cracks you want to fill then fill them with the sealant. a putty knife and wide plastic Spackle blade are handy too. once you fill the crack go back over it with the putty knife and smooth it over take the excess and put it in another part of the crack you are working on. makes it a breeze to work with and it goes fast.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plan to buy twice as much This concrete caulk seems to adhere well. There are two issues to be aware of when using. 1. Unlike ANY other caulk I've used, this caulk will continue to run out of the tube no matter what you do to try and stop it. I went so far as to remove the tube from the gun to eliminate any pressure; it still oozed out while smoothing the previous bead. Have plenty of paper towels or rags handy. 2. The label states it will cover 56 linear feet of a 3/16" bead. If you are filling 1/8" expansion-joint saw cuts, figure about 24' due to the material squeezing down into the joint. You are actually creating a 1/8" x 1/4" (or more) bead rather than a uniform, circular bead. Time will tell how long it lasts. My concrete driveway sealing project has begun 1 year after it was poured (September, 2015). Caulk the joints, then seal with a penetrating siloxane based sealer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DAP Concrete Crack Sealant - 18021 This was used to fill the joints in the sidewalk before staining the sidewalk. I have used this product before to seal the joint between the basement floor and the basement walls. As a result I have not had any bugs, spiders, etc., in the basement. Also used it to seal the joint between the house foundation and the patio prior to staining the patio. Very easy to apply and does a great job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from concrete caulking I used this product to fill the many small and large cracks in my garage floor. It is as easy to use any other caulking. I used about half of the tube and sealed it with masking tape. Later I reopened it to use and it was still soft and plyable. The color matches well with existing concrete, especially after getting dirty. Good product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do not use on exterior expansion joint I used this product to seal my concrete driveway .250 inch wide expansion joint, so far I have used approximately 8 tubes. Unfortunately the sealant shrunk, creating gaps on the side, further I noticed that the sealant never bonded to the concrete. I am returning the remaining 18 tubes back. My recommendation do not apply this product were it is subject to extreme weather conditions.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't perform in expansion joints Applied over backer rod in patio expansion joints. Product never seemed to cure, and got watery and lost adherence to concrete surfaces two days later after light rain. Would not recommend for this type of application (use rubber butyl caulk instead).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Caulk The caption is incorrect. it is caulking for concrete. I'm not experienced in the home maintenance stuff, but my husband had used this in the past and it needed to be redone. My hands are not large enough to use the 'gun', so I squeezed it out and spread it with my finger. Worked well.
