CUT-OFF DISC is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 51.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dremel 420 Cutting Wheel Bought these cutting wheels to cut through a hardened steel socket that was stuck on a impact driver. I don't own an angle grinder and didn't want to have to buy one. After reading on the Internet, trying to find the best option to cut through hardened steel with out buying new tools, I found this option for my Dremel tool. This cutting wheel fits on the Dremel 402 mandrel and is easy to assemble with that part. After assemble I decided my battery powered Dremel wasn't sufficient and fitted it to my standard electric drill. After 12 discs I had successfully cut the socket in half! It was incredibly easy. The only down side it that the discs tend to be rather brittle and break easily. But really if a disc the size of a nickel will cut through a hardened steel socket, I'm not overly concerned about its brittleness. Overall a good product that far exceeded my expectations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as it should for a Genuine product. Genuine Dremel cut off wheels.. They work as advertised for what materials they are rated for cutting. (I use them mainly to cut off over driven nails or screws that were stripped..etc.) Found Lowe's had the best price for these in my area, ALL of their direct competition (Big AND Small) and a known junk tool company which carries their own brand are very VERY nearby my Lowe's.. (Even the junk freight tool company's brand were more expensive.) If you use a rotary tool, you'll be hard pressed to beat these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fiber Wheel I have cut through many things in my day. Some would say "haphazardly", but irregardless, I consider myself a cutting guru of sorts. Here is my authorized review as such an expert. This Fiber cutting wheel features a hole in the middle and rounded edges. I did check the roundness because circles are notoriously ovalular under magnification and found this to be entirely and indisputably a circle. The hole is right in the middle too, for balance I suppose, but the aesthetics of it can not be ignored. It does feature a roughed up edging (both sides!), but not so roughed up that it causes your dremel to shimmy and shake. I highly recommend this to be used with a motorized hand tool of the dremel variety. It's quite necessary for building up the rotational velocity needed to function.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fiber Cutting Wheel Great little wheels to cut thin metal. Used to cut tabs off of 1/8th inch thick steel plate. Have also used to cut a thick metal pad lock off. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sooooo handy! These are the heavy duty cutoff wheels for the dremel. I use them in cutting out rusty metal on old hot rods in tight places I can't fit my grinder. These are the in between size I suppose, there's a thinner disc (which break constantly) and there's a bigger, fiber reinforced disc that I really haven't had much luck with. These are the way to go. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cutting Wheeeeel! It spins, it cuts, it's a cutting wheel. I actually returned this purchase. You get a lot of wheels and I already had some. I used them to cut 2 1/2 in. framing nails out of an awkward angle. Fits standard Dremel cutting wheel bit. Be sure to get the bit and Dremel if you don't have one already. Use a medium high speed and little pressure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from these are excellent for cutting light weight metal items. the do break easily but if you are patient, they will perform well. a bit pricey but most Dremel products are. the thicker ones are a no go. takes forever to penetrate the metal [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
