Excellent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried to use a regular bit (for wooden doors) and got nowhere. I used this and went through the door like butter.

Did the job for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to enlarge the holes on 2 steel doors to install new deadbolt locks. The old holes were the old standard of 1 1/2 inches diameter and the new deadbolts required holes of 2 1/8 inches diameter. I used the hole saw to drill a hole in a scrap piece of 1x4 board and then used that as a template/guide to drill the holes in the doors. You cannot drill too fast into the steel because the hole saw will get too hot. I took my time and the hole worked great. Very satisfied with this product.

very poor with plywood
New out of the package and it has to burn its way through 1/2" ply. The only way to get through is to pull out and knock off accumulated crud with a wire brush. Maybe it's just the glue in my particular plywood melting onto the blade, but I doubt it; no other cutting tools I've used on this plywood have any problems. I cut the holes with a really cheap forstner bit, and that had no trouble at all. Other hole saws work too. It's just this saw which doesn't. Not an impressive product.

got the job done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this thing twists at the bottom to come apart and
get the remains of whatever you just drilled out
kinda a pain to remove the leftover wood from the cavity.
it works well and is sharp tho.

Worked as expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed to cut a 2 1/8 inch hole in some quarter inch steel. No surprises, it worked perfectly.
