Description
The TripleGrip(TM) from Cobra is easy to install and is designed with two expandable wings that grip tightly behind the drywall for a maximum holding power. Its advanced technology cam action expands, thereby creating an additional pressure against the side walls of the drywall or masonry. Two lateral wings hold the anchor in place preventing any rotation while the screw is inserted. The package includes 10 anchors with screws and 1x 5/16" drill bit.

Don't waste your money
Bought these to hang some closet shelves on drywall where studs were not conveniently present.
The included drill bit was likely part of the problem. The spade-like tip chewed through the wall rather than cut through. As a result, the holes were not well-defined, clean holes, and all 14 anchors failed to grip. While tightening them I could immediately tell they were not gripping the wall, but were spinning. Maybe they would have worked ok if I had used my own good high speed drill bits, but I will never know, will never buy these again.

Not Even Close to 30 Pounds!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I unfortunately used 24 of these anchors to hold up my wardrobe shelving. Theoretically, they should have held up up to 720 pounds. Consequently, I thought my wardrobe is not even 500 pounds, these will work. Well after 2 years, the shelving started pulling from the wall. I had to redo the anchors on my shelving, furthermore they broke right out of the 1/2' drywall. Please estimate less than half the weight of these anchors at best.

Worked Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to hang a mounting bracket for a 50" TV above my fireplace. works great, no problems. It's advised not to anchor in the mortar between the bricks but it's a solid hold.

Best wall anchor ever
I looked hard and wide for weeks trying to find an anchor for wall mounting towel racks in a bathroom with plaster walls. All of the others I looked at didn't seem like they would work, then I tried these blue plastic medium duty all purpose anchors. What an easy and effective product to use. Turned out to be the best wall anchor I ever used.

These Anchors have a soft spot!
When you look at these anchors, you see something a little different, the expansion tabs, the expansion ridges, but what you don't see right off the bat, is the weakness of these units in the center. If the hole is not perfect, or there is something in the hole, when you drive them in, they will just bend out of shape. You only get one try at this so be careful. I used to like the fluted drywall anchors that depended on expansion alone. Can't find the old kind without looking at an Electrical Supply house, but they are still around. They used to come in a plastic divided container and included the drill for them. By the way, the drill that came with these anchors seemed a little "competitive" and was easily worn just by going through grout. (a masonry bit that fails in grout???)
I say look for a more substantial anchor. They are still out there!

My go to anchor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife is a teacher. Every time she changes rooms I have to take everything off of the walls and move it to the new room. These are the most common size anchors that I use in mounting everything to the walls. I’ve used hundreds of these over the last several years. I’ve never had a single problem. There are very few products that I use with a 100% success rate. This is one of them.
