Description
The Channellock E SERIESª line-up features Xtreme Leverage Technology (XLTª) for considerably less force required to cut than traditional high leverage designs. Crosshatch jaws provide maximum grip and the pipe grip design accommodates many shapes. Laser heat-treated cutting edges last longer and easily cut hard and soft wire. The streamlined design is sleeker and lighter for easier handling.

Better than welpers!
I use these as welding welpers and they work much better than actual welpers. In the first place, they are an all around good pair of multi use pliers. I first saw (and owned) this design in a Snap-On version, and I actually like these better. I will say that the Snap-On version is the Eagle Talon grip tip, and are certainly stronger and less apt to bend but as welpers these are a gem, especially when I need to do a quick tip cleaning and don't want to take the tip off to do it.

Better Than Knipex
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Knipex pair of long needle nose pliers slipped with anything that might be slippery, got really annoying. Saw these were made in USA and I heard from other people that Channellocks are better than Knipex, so I tried a pair and I absolutely love them so much I bought a second pair!

Well Constructed
These have a very fine nose to them, which is great for the work I'm doing, they're sturdy, feel heavy in your hand, and they grip very well. Overall a great buy.

Truly excellent pliers
Used every day in a mechanics shop for many tasks. These channellock pliers pit and corrode more than say a knipex would with the black finish. However, at the price I love these pliers and they have never slipped on me. Best needle nose pliers I’ve ever used and they’re multi functional. If you’re a DIYer and don’t need many different types of pliers every day, this may be the only pair of pliers you need. Excellent product, the teeth are still sharp after 1 year and the pivot is still smooth as butter.
