Chain Saw Carrying Case - Orange is rated

I found the instructions very confusing. First of all, the pages were printed opposite (parts identification on the front side vs. instructruction order on the back page upside down) which made it confusing to work with. Second of all, if you try to put it together the way the instructions tell you it is very difficult to install the plastic inserts for the cover after the sides are installed. I found putting the inserts in first and then snapping the sides in afterwards worked perfect. Other than that for a easy carry case for the chainsaw and all the extras is a very reasonal good value.

This case comes ready to assemble with plastic hinges and pop in sides. Just a basic square box whit a sleeve for the bar and inserts for files and such. Only a certain type of file (flat w/handle) will fit in the
indentations. Seems to be sturdy but bulkier than the molded types that are shaped like a chain saw.
Lots of room inside to carry all you need but it makes the box bigger and heavier to carry. It is stackable
and I can place it in the truck on top of things and it will not tip.
Over-all, It gets the job done. I hope it lasts as long as the saw!

Ok but could be better.
I just purchased this case for my Husqvarna 445 saw. It has space for the wrench, an extra spark plug, chain and 2 stroke oil bottle. sharpeners and manuals. The "hinges" are held together with a plastic hinge pins. The clasps to hold the cover closed are molded plastic snap in types. The sides are held together with molded plastic push in type connections. The Velcro straps to hold the saw use the anchor type plastic push pins to hold them to the case. They failed the first time I used them. The construction is probably fine if your a homeowner that only uses the saw occasionally but I doubt this would hold up for regular contractor type use. For $40 I was expecting a little better quality,

To many pieces.
I do not like this case at all. I tried it on 2 journeys and no, its a pain to deal with. I will return it.
You have to assemble it with nylon shafts through plastic hinges and 2 of mine the hole wasn't even there. the latches snap on and don't stay well. The book, like it shows, does not stay put and falls into the hinge and you have to push and hold it up to close the lid. I'd rather have a good ole clam shell type, this kind the front folds down and the lid opens. Things don't stay where they go besides your saw wrench. The chain guard has to fit in the slot just right and the Velcro straps don't do much. I can't deal with it, to much monkeyin around, I just want to grab and go, not fidget with a case.

Unworthy Box for Quality Chainsaw
The first thing I noticed out of the box is how cheap the plastic is. I've seen over and over the same type of plastic failing after being in the heat or see wear-and-tear. So I'm not expecting it to last more than a few years for even home use.
The diagram in the instructions seemed incorrect. Had to figure out the correct placement of the two side panels.
The bar oil and gas oil placeholders are just that. They are not secured at all and will always fall over.
The manual will not stay strapped in because it's so loose.
Had to bore out the holes for the cheap plastic hinges to be installed due to poor detailing after molding.

Rushed to return
Husqvarna has the most awesome equipment there is, however I was very let down by this item. I purchased it hoping that I would be able to keep all my tools and things in order, and never misplaced. The main problem I found was that I had to use extreme force to get them into their slots. My file guide was not even able to snap in unless I would have used a rubber mallet. It began to damage my guide. Also it was really too large and bulky. For the price, it should have been made of gold, and work perfect. I will always buy Husqvarna equipment, of this I am hooked, but I won't need their box. Sorry.

Carry Case -- Husky!
I encountered a few things that could be improved!
* Assembly instructions could be better. They are just pictures and can cause problems. It will cost more but make customers happier and well directed.
* Need a few common storage areas instead of just for Husqvarna products. All Husky products are not readily available where people live.
* I had to buy a Husky scrench, but it interfers with the spark plug when installed in the carry case.
* I also bought a tip grease gun and there is no place to store it properly.
However, I do consider it a very good case and would buy another one for my other saws.
Thanks for making something functional and very useful for me.

I have two boxes holing my 141 and 61 chainsaw plus oil, manual and tool.
The box comes with two scabbats in two different lengths, this is hardly mentioned anythere.
The box inself is solid made and pretty light. So along with the saw the box with accessories, its still easy to carry. Since I am obliged to secure the saw while dricing to the cutting location, the box helps very much. Its easy to strap in down to the trunk floor.
Then you to want to carry the saw without bar you can close the opeing for the bar with an insert. This is what I do when we have limited space in the trnk. We carry the bar underneath the floor of the trunk.
