If you like to broil, get another oven
I was going to get a Viking, but for the little cooking I do, I couldn't justify the extra cost. We have other Bosch products and have found them to be very good so getting a Bosch oven seemed like a no brainer. This oven cooks regular things well enough but if you want to broil, it is horrible. If you put the meat up close enough to crisp it you either end up with it catching on fire or an oven full of smoke. If you put it where Bosch recommends, the heating coil isn't hot enough to broil it. The meat ends up more "poached" than broiled. If you never broil, this won't be an issue and you'll probably be happy with the oven, but if you do, you better have a good grill because you can forget about broiling in this oven.

We have owned these ovens for 5 years - and have had nothing but trouble with them. We have never been able to use both ovens at the same time. We always get an error code and an irritating beeping sound. We have to trip the breaker to get it to stop. The repairmen have never been able to find a cause - so can't fix it. Now, I can't even use one oven without getting the error code and beeping! I have been in contact with Bosch - and they are NO HELP at all! Needless to say - the ovens are on their way out - and will be replaced with anything except Bosch!

Bosch needs to stick with just dishwashers
I have a Bosch dishwasher, gas stove and these ovens. These ovens are loud and they don't heat consistently. I have an oven thermometer in them. Sometimes they are cooler than they should be, hotter than they should be or right on target. They blow a lot of air out. I just wish I had bought a different brand. Trust me when I say they are loud... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
