improved even over my previous Bosch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When remodeling my “new” house, the one appliance I knew I wanted was another Bosch dishwasher since the one in my old house was a workhorse for the 5 years I lived with it.
Improvements in this one over the previously quiet model is that it’s even more quiet; the silverware basket dividers have been redesigned so now my fat handled silverware fits; the flip down mechanisms seem more substantial; the third rack is standard; and resetting is easier since it no longer requires holding 2 buttons simultaneously.
I just ran my first load in it and am very happy to have it!

Love this dishwasher!
I am a very senior citizen who has used a number of dishwashers over the years. This is by far the best of the lot. It is extremely quiet and does a great job cleaning everything. I can't help myself, I rinse the dishes before I load it. I use the 60 minute cycle and they come out clean. I also like the rinse dispenser light that shows it needs filled.
The third rack is wonderful, I never use the silverware basket. It is so much easier to unload silverware using the third rack. I think they get cleaner when
They are not all jammed together in the basket.
I tell everyone how much I love this machine!

stopped working after six months
Bought one two years ago, but installed it after remodeling my house. It worked fine for only six months. I called for warranty, but they said the warranty starts from date of purchase (not date of installation). I looked online for potential cause of not receiving power. Then I called Bosch to buy thermal fuse. They said they do not come with thermal fuse. They want to send technician for repair, but it is going to be expensive, and not even guaranteed another break soon. So, I am buying another brand. I feel I wasted $800 to have this machine for only six months. I do not recommend this machine to any friend.

Great, quiet dishwasher
I previously had a cheaper Bosch model without vertically-adjustable racks, and honestly the adjustments are kind of gimmicky and I'm concerned mechanism may break over time. The third rack for silverware is very nice tho. I might recommend a cheaper version than this one, since I'm not sure it was worth the extra money, but I would definitely recommend Bosch.

Unreliable START Switch
Since this thing was new, we have had trouble making it START.
Of all my years on this good earth, I have never had so much trouble making an electrical instrument
start, but this one is really trouble. Nor did Bosch seem to care. They said just push the button and that's it.
Well, no that ISN'T it. After owning it less than two years, I'm getting rid of it and buying a Whirlpool.
This thing stinks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a lot of research on deciding which dishwasher to purchase, I went with this Bosch 301. I never thought I'd ever own a Bosch, but so happy that we went with it and paid the extra $$, well worth it. I've used it a few times now and it seems to get the job done. I like that it's quiet, big improvement over the one that died. Sometimes I wouldn't know it's on but I see the red light glowing on the floor so I know its on. It was easy to install and I just made sure I read the operator manual, it has a lot of features that you wouldn't normally think of, like the 3rd top rack, I really like that. Overall, I'm happy I went with this model and I'm hoping it will last a long time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Door is difficult to operate. Too much spring tension. Requires two hands, one to pull the handle, the other to grab door from the top, lest it fly shut again.
No locking latch, just a spring detent to hold door shut, increasing effort to open. Jerky, as if dealing with a door that sticks.
Unless guided closed, door will re-latch, making additions throughout the day a hassle.
Tines are very closely spaced. Fits a large number of plates, but even the shallowest of bowls have no good place to go.
This machine does not hold nearly the amount of dishes and cookware we have as the one it replaces.
Purchased online. Looked at many models from several vendors over perhaps three weeks. I would suggest buying in person, to be sure it works for you.
It is much quieter than our old dishwasher. Drying is no better, no worse. Within reason, all probably clean very well. Our 16 year old Kenmore made them sparkle too.
Kind of like having bad knees. Better than no knees.

Very good dishwasher. Had it installed for 3 weeks and we are impressed with the results, never a dish or utensil not clean. With the factory settings, we were not happy with how dry our dishes were at the end, no problem there, just adjust the factory settings to extra dry and forget about it! Read the manual. This machine is super easy to customize to your liking, and then it is set, hit 2 buttons to turn on and forget about it which you will because it is so quiet! I was not sure that I would like a filter I would have to clean, but this is super easy and highly visible so there is no guessing if it may need cleaning. Happy with the purchase, would recommend to anyone!
