Blackstone Tailgater 2-Burner Propane Gas Griddle Grill with Stove is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 99.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great concept but poor design and poor quality. Bought tailgater combo in summer 2019, started using in 2020, direct burner works great but the griddle side burner emits large yellow wandering flame with soot. Regulator and gas flow is not a problem because direct burner works great. I have also verified the air inlet for griddle side H burner is clean and not blocked by insects or dirt. Second problem I noticed is that griddle is warped with center raised up. Third problem is that the direct burner is not centered. I was very impressed with videos and the great concept this tailgater promises but due to poor design and poor quality of the product you cannot use it for what it is designed to do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little heavy for a "portable" grill. First let me say that the tailgater grill does everything as advertised. The quality is good, assembly is very straightforward and quite simple. We ordered this to go in our camper as a portable grill, it does fold up nice, but it is pretty heavy. Other than that we are very happy with the performance of this grill. We are new to griddle cooking and are having a great time trying new things. Pancakes are the bomb on this thing! The grill box is very hot with a low flame, haven't used just the burner yet for a pot, but that was one of the selling points for the wife.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Grill for the Lake I have used this grill twice at the lake for about a week solid each time and fed numerous people for breakfast and dinner meals. Everyone was in awe about this combo grill. Breakfast meal like eggs, bacon sausage and hashbrowns cooked very well except when the wind was coming off the lake at the grill then it just cooled down the grill. They should place a piece of sheet metal on the bottom of the grill to keep so much air from effecting the flame. The Smoke box work very good for the Steaks and even took the Smoke off and put on a shrimp boil pot on the left side, WOW works very well. I would have given 5 stars, but one of the spring pins that hold the legs in place broke off. Not welded very well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from RUST...IS MY ONLY REVIEW! I purchased one of these for myself and another for a friend. Before either of us used either griddle they were rusted horrible. We both cleaned the rust off and oil them, again within a few days griddles were super rusted again! Now both toolbox grills are rusted as well. I wouldn't even give them 1 star but that was the least I could choose. Loved the idea but totally disatisified!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tailgater I love it! We’ve cooked on it non stop once we got the griddle to mount (hence the 4 star). One of the tabs was not welded squarely and was slightly off so the pegs on the griddle plate didn’t line up. We ended up drilling out the with a step bit. Being new to Blackstone we weren’t sure who to reach out to and just made it work. Honestly, not a huge deal. Loving the grill. Love the fact we can throw a pot on it and have a low country boil. It packs away fairly easily. Well built so you don’t have to be a dainty with it like we were the first couple times we were packing it up. It’s definitely increased the speed of putting it away.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Concept but.... I wanted a griddle and burner combo for camping and this looked like just the ticket. But build quality is typical Chinese build. The tabs that the griddle feet set into were welded in crooked and out of place. The griddle doesn't sit down without force. The lid to the grill box is very flimsy and can easily be bent. Corner reinforcement would help reduce twisting and flexing. Removal of the grill box could be improved. The cast iron grates and flame baffle must be removed to access the two retaining clips that hold it in place. Be careful when removing the clips as the box, with the lid open, wants to tip backwards and could fall off if not paying attention. Performance of the griddle is ok, but has cold spots due to poor welding of burner tubes blocking some of the flame holes. Cooking 1.25" thick steaks took longer than on a conventional grill or my cast iron skillet on top of my stove. The round burner that sits under the grill box isn't centered under the grate and grill box. You wont be able to center a large pot over the burner without it possibly being off balance. I haven't used the grill portion of it. Great concept, poor execution to details and subpar build quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cool slow on the grill I have used this three times camping at the beach cooking bacon and found that it doesn’t get as hot as the small Blackstone grille, but the small one has a sheetmetal bottom on it, so I installed one on my new one waiting to try it as soon as we can go camping ☹️

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turn down the heat!!! Grill seems well built and I like most features about it except 1- if you turn the grill to low and shut the lid, it still gets very hot- up to 450 at least. I threw some chicken breasts on, turned the flame all the way down and shut the lid. Within a few minutes the temp was over 400 and climbing, had to open lid so they wouldn't burn. Maybe that is what it is designed to do but I like to be able to walk away for a while when cooking. Maybe some bigger vent holes in the lid would help. Haven't used the griddle side yet.
