Don't waste your time or money on this.
The only good thing I can say about this heater is that Lowe's will replace it for up to a year, which is good, because you will definitely have to replace it.
The first one I bought lasted about 3 months of intermittent use, the second and third ones lasted about the same, the 4th and final one I was able to replace during my one year warranty just died after 4 months, likely because I've only been using it for about 2 hours a day over the last month, you know, when the temperature outside warrants using a heater.....
As others have mentioned, you have to be sitting directly under this heater to get any benefit of it at all and even then, it doesn't give off as much heat as the floor standing dish heater I bought elsewhere. It does act well as mood lighting though...
There are no replaceable parts so when it dies, and it will, you're left with a shiny, but useless chrome'ish pole.

I have one of these at our winter home in Arizona and it is great! On chilly mornings in Late December it is nice to sit and read the paper with a cup of coffee while the chill disappears instantly
