Shiny hair from
My only regret is that I didn't buy this sooner.
I have been suffering with dull, dry, unmanageable, brittle hair for years. My house has extremely hard water. I did not want to get a whole house water softening system because I hate to bathe with soft water. It feels so slick.
I bought the shower head about 6 weeks ago and noticed an immediate improvement in my hair. After every shower, my hair gets better and better. The water is obviously softer but it does not have that slippery soft water feeling. It feels...perfect. I am very, very happy that I took a chance on this product. It was too inexpensive not to try.

Filters All Chemicals
Made a huge difference in the water with this filter. No more inhaling chlorine water while taking hot showers. The problem is the the filter cap which needs to better quality which causes leaking. I'm just happy as long it does it jobs. Thank you Aquasana.

Poor design
Had this for a year or so and it worked fine.
The problem is that its too much weight and too much plastic. If you have more than one person in the house and everyday its adjusted, it won't take long before the plastic breaks.
This is on top of having to switch filters that will put additional pressure on the plastic. To help avoid this one you would have to take it off the pipe first every time you change the filter which is additionally lame.
Its just not designed well (and probably would be easy for the engineering team to do) and am very surprised this had not been improved. Would not recommend unless you want to keep having to deal with new ones with the time between changes depending on how much use it gets.
Threw it out and never looked back.

It does not do what it claimed it does
after a week of use tested the water coming out of the shower head and it tested positive...still quite a bit of chlorine coming out which is why I purchased it in the first place!

Delivers as promised
This filter/showerhead combination delivers on its promise with noticeably improved water quality. I brush my teeth in the shower (a no-no according to Dr. Oz due to bacteria buildup in showerheads) and feel much more comfortable having my water filtered first. That said, I was disappointed to find out the showerhead is somewhat proprietary in that the connection is not the standard size showerhead fitting. It would have been very easy to make both fittings (coming out of the wall and coming out of the filter) the same so you can replace the showerhead with any of your favorites down the line. This aspect kept it from getting 5 stars.

Mediocre at Best
Mediocre at best. Quality is poor. Installed the shower filter with hand held shower, yesterday. The quality of the shower components do not meet my expectations. The hose is plastic and stiff. The shower head has two settings, only one is useful. Unable to move the shower head up or down when it is anchored. This unit only removes chlorine, so I don't understand why people are reporting softer hair and skin. Granted chlorine is not good for your skin, but some of the reviews seem exaggerated. I can't recommend the product because of its cheap quality. I gave it three stars, because it does function as a shower, though very basic.

easy to set up
I purchased this product about a month ago. I honestly cannot tell the difference. I still smell the hard water when I shower, and my skin is still very dry. I thought this would make my skin feel like I had soft water, but it does not. I would not waste your money on this. I am very disappointed

Better hair!
I purchased this shower filter because I was doing research on how to make my hair healthier. Before the pandemic, I travelled a lot for work. I started to notice the water in different places and felt the effects of hard vs soft water. We moved to a new place recently in Houston and I noticed my hair would get greasy at the end of the day and was also feeling dry even with good shampoo and conditioner. My sister was skeptical before this arrived but after showering with it, the first week we noticed a change. We don't get greasy hair and our hair is softer! I do recommend. This works!
