Clear Series Alcove Soaker Tub
Nothing highlights and complements the overall look and feel of a bathroom like the Clear alcove bathtub from Acri-tec. The Clear bath is a minimalist bathtub with a smooth apron and simple, rectangular bathing well.
A perfect tub for both bathing and showering; the Clear series of baths features gently sloping side walls to provide ample floor-space for standing, and a 120° back-rest angle for maximum bather comfort.

So the usable length of the tub (on the inside) is 3ft 7 inches? The inside of my 60 inch tub - length 4ft 2 inches. Is that because of the back rest? Seems small...?

Minimilist bath
Its really deep, and minimilist. I was hoping for a shallow bath, but the price was right. Minimalist interior, makes it roomy for a bath/shower, but not for lying back and soaking. if you are primariy using this as a bath/shower with kids using the bath, then its ideal. Mine was going into a nightly rental, and I thought it would be safer than a shower, that could overflow more readily with clogs
The step-over is pretty high if you have mobility issues. Delivery is included in the price, which is great, as getting stuff delivered to Whistler can be problematic and expensive. I ended up phoning Acri-tec for delivery details. The delivery guys put it in the ground level alcove, so NOT an abandon it on the kerb experience

This tub has no finish so it stains and will not come clean. If you use any kind of bath product, be prepared to have stains permanently in it. Not happy at all with this tub! My daughter used a bath product and now we have yellow patches all over the tub which will not come out. Buyer Beware!

Nice tub
Would have liked to have seen a much sturder piece of lumber reinforced with fiberglass then what they used. Wouldn't have costed the company that much more. I used two 2×8 29in long screwed together with 3/4in of cement on top, this made the tub feel much firmer. Overall much better tub then the one's in stock at your local hardware store.
