Description

The Craftsman® breaker bar is designed to procure added leverage for more torque. Fabricated in steel, features large markings for quick accessory identification and a chrome finish fully polished ensuring corrosion resistance. Rated 1 out of 5 by TooTired from Broke on first use. Just bought this today to help me remove two stuck caliper bolts. Got the first one removed, but the bar broke when trying to remove the 2nd. One side sheared off completely. I went with the Craftsman bar because it's the brand my family uses and recommends, and on the other, slightly cheaper bar, reviewers say that this bar is worth the money. That's a big no from me. Getting a replacement tomorrow, may update this review then.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Emily from Too short on its own To be fair, I did not check the length before I bought this online. I'm not going to give it a bad review because I didn't read the description closely enough. It's way too short to be used as a breaker bar by itself. You need a cheater pipe to add some length to give it enough leverage to actually work as a breaker bar. That being said, it can take a lot of abuse. Works well only, but if you have a pipe you can use with it for leverage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jeffrey from Does it's Job [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hey, this works great. for the job I used it for I actually got it a little short, but it easily fit a piece of 1 inch pipe I cut off. I'd definitely recommend getting hardened sockets for it, impact sockets. I put a bend in the standard metal socket. Other that it worked great.

Good price for the kit. 10 inch bar was extremely useful for under car acces using 3/8 drive on oil filter wrench socket. Good snap onto the tool and secure hold with no slop.

I've used this bar for quite some time and it's still holding up after being dropped and covered in solvents. I'm happy with the overall quality and ease of use.
