My dishwasher[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this dishwasher. I have not tried the 1 hour wash, I just use the auto sense with heat dry and sanitize. What impresses me is the inside of the door. When the cycle is complete, you open it up and the door is immaculate. Not a streak or drip or stain! As an indicator of what the load is like, it gives a nice level of confidence. I am also happy to have an "american" machine. I've used GE for everything for 30 years. I know this machine is designed in the US, parts made in Canada, and final assembly in US. GE does come out of Kentucky, but they are owned by China, parent company is Haier - Chinese.

Extremely Quiet! Love the bisque color.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this dishwasher for about 2 weeks. So far I absolutely love it.
The main reason I chose this dishwasher was because I wanted to replace my current 17 year old one with another one that came in a bisque color and also because this one had some good reviews. I do not like the stainless steel colors.
This dishwasher is so quiet that you can't hear it running. It does a fantastic job on my dishes and looks very nice in my kitchen with my other bisque appliances. I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone. I like the Whirlpool name and have always been happy with this brand.

Runs long, does not dr (cont'd)ince I cannot find "reply", I'll open a new review.
I do use a drying agent. The utensils are where the problem is.
You failed to reply to the Loooooooooooooog running. 3+ hr. on Light/heavy dry. And I do rinse everything off before washing. My 10 year old Whirlpool (with the manual knobs) ran approx. 1.5 hrs, and dried better on air dry. Somehow you need to vent the dryer. The door shows lots of moisture.
BTW. I have purchased Whirlpool appliances for 28+ years, and have always looked to Whirpool for my appliances.
Am I am happy with Whirlpool at this time? YES. I just spent $5000 +/- and feel that I should have kept my 10 year old appliances.

Stopped working just after the 1 year warrantyWe purchased this dishwasher in December 2017 after the previous one broke. Worked great for the first year and then the wash pump broke and we had to have it serviced in February 2019. The repair technician said this was a common issue with this particular model. Worked well and then a few months ago the heating element went out and so the dishes do not dry. It also seems that the dishes are not getting cleaned anymore and we have to hand wash things after a cycle. The inside of the machine also has to be cleaned after a few cycles due to build up of detergent and food. I would not recommend this dishwasher.

Great purchase![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had just had this installed last week, so only a few uses under our belt. So far it’s been amazing! I feel bad for the others that have had negative experiences with this model, but so far so good. It’s dries wonderfully, even on the light dry option it works well. Super quiet! I’ve even tested it with pots/pans, and purposefully left stuck on food/debris on the dishes to see what it could do. Sparkling clean, I’m happy to say, every time so far it’s exceeded my expectations, whether it’s expensive dishwasher pods or crappy powder ones. I must also note that I’m definitely a skeptic....I research everything to death and read review after review, so hopefully this helps.

Meets expectations so far(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This machine meets my expectations so far. I only use the one hour cycle option as the others take 2-3 hours to run. The Light Drying option is working well for me. The machine is not as quiet as I expected, and the interior is smaller than I initially thought - Perhaps becuase the cutlery tray is quite large. The finishing liquid tray is easy to fill, but it's difficult to see the level it's at. The detergent tray is a little small and sometimes I am not sure the detergent pods will fell out very easily. The nylon rack is suppossed to be better than the old plastic coated metal ones. The energy rating is really good.

Quiet & Beautiful - worth EVERY cent![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We begrudgingly replaced an 8-year old dishwasher, but have been blown away by this wonderful new unit. Our former dishwasher sounded like a jet-engine - this new Whirlpool is a kitten, maybe 2, purring. Beyond the amazing noise-reduction, the stainless interior seems impervious to our mineral-heavy water. When using it with the suggested detergent and drying aid, our dishes come out clean and spotless. 5 stars across the board, 2 thumbs up, every other accolade I can think of - quite simply, this dishwasher is just amazing.

Does a good job and is quiet, but takes forever. This dishwasher does a pretty good job washing. It's nice and quiet and I was happy with it, other than it taking a really long time.
One hour wash uses a LOT of water, and everything comes out soaking wet unless you add a dry cycle, which extends the cycle significantly.
The normal cycle takes at minimum 3 hours and 15 minutes, if you use the drying cycle. It does a pretty good job though. I've had it take over 4 hours in some cases.
Unfortunately, the circulation motor completely died and the dishwasher doesn't even realize it. As a result, it fills with water, then does nothing, drains again, then fills again, and so on. The motor is so expensive to replace that it's not worth repairing, so it's going to the landfill and will be replaced by a different model.
