Compact Table Saw - 10" - 15 A

This table saw's 15-amp motor delivers high performance power and torque for hardwood and stacked cuts. Optimized footprints make it the lightest saw with a capacity of more than 20% higher than other saws of its class. Rubber feet resist impact and grip smooth surfaces for convenient adjustability on uneven surfaces. At 45 lb, this table saw is the lightest saw by more than 25% with its capacity. The rack and pinion fence design delivers consistent fence to blade parallelism, while the telescoping fence rails retract to create a small, portable package. Its metal roll cage base is designed to withstand drops, unsecured transportation and job site use that would ruin plastic bases.

Compact Table Saw - 10" - 15 A is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 81.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from has some flaws that you need to consider This is not a bad saw, but has some drawbacks. The best feature and the reason I bought it is the rip fence is attached to an adjustable track. No other saw has this and it is awesome. The major drawback is this saw is not compatible with a dado blade. The miter gauge is made of cheap plastic and does not fit with rails on the table. This makes mitered cuts very inaccurate. The rip fence is small which makes it difficult to attach a sacrificial fence or featherboards. It is easy to use and easily portable, so you need to consider the features that are important to you before buying this saw

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product for a beginner After doing my research on all the table saws out there, this one seemed to be the best one out there for a beginner or someone who would use it for small projects around the house. It was very easy to assemble the few parts that needed to be put on and it's instructions weren't difficult to understand. I did mark down the score for the price though. I feel that this should be a product that should be around 150 to 230 dollars. I've attached a couple of pics of my first project of a crafting ink rack that the wife needed built. It took me about an hour to make thanks to the table saw. Can't wait to start the next project.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great compact table saw I've been using this saw regularly for about 2 yrs.It replaced a heavier Dewalt job site table saw that I retired to the shed.I use it mostly for hardwood floors and custom finish carpentry. With a good blade,It cuts Flawlessly.Guide and miter when adjusted properly are also very precise.I love that it's light enough to move from job to job with ease.Very well made, quality saw that if cared for properly will last a long time.I like using it best with the optional stand. But it also works great on my truck's tail gate for the quick jobs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Let 'er Rip And that was the first thing I did - redwood and Douglas fir 2 x 4s to 2 x 2s, pine 1 x 8s to 1 x 4s and 1 x 2s and even a few of 1 x 2s were trimmed down to 1 x 1s. The last set of cuts were made with a 60 tooth blade (colored red) with the "rubber baby buggy bumpers" (blade guard and anti-kick backs) removed so the rip fence could be brought to within a scant 3/4" of the blade. The saw is a bit loud, but not quite as loud as the router which I can now leave on the shelf when performing straight but narrow dado and rabbet cuts. The miter gauge is not the 16 oz doorstop I remember my grandfather having on his table saw, so I will keep my eyes peeled for something a little more substantial.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent, except .... haven't used it much yet, but to this point, everything is ++, except that the darned miter gauge guide bar is a very sloppy fit in the channel. why dewalt does this on an otherwise excellent product, is unfathomable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this table saw Love this table saw it cuts through hard woods with ease just like it says. I bought this table saw about a year ago and it still has not bogged down I love the powerful 15 amp moter it seriously is a work saw and heavy duty I could not due with out.i recommend this table saw to any one even if it will take a lot of abuse guaranteed tough just like it said on the box what I don't like about it is it will not accept a dado stack and the guard mos of the time can't even use it because it gets in the way of the push stick cause you have to angle the stick towards the fence to keep the wood against the fence what else not a dang thing they built this saw almost perfect

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very good tool First table saw I've ever owned for site work. I honestly didn't expect it to be anywhere near as good as it is. It was calibrated perfectly, right out of the box, and is extremely accurate. I was able to rip a bevel cut out of 60 feet of 5/4 red oak stock for a bar rail, at a cut depth of 2 1/2" without burning a single piece, with the blade that came with it. That in itself takes a huge bite out of time spent sanding. It's very likely the blade not being one of the mega tooth blades everyone thinks they need, was the reason for the clean cuts with no burn. More teeth, more heat, and less material raked from the cut. Try it before you buy a different type. The fence is awesome. Better than any I've ever used on a saw of this size, and better than my shop saw, which for other than dado work, might be soon rolled to the corner of the shop for a long deserved rest. If you take care of this saw and keep it clean, most folks will never need to buy another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed with the quality of my new Dewalt ... I make my living as a furniture maker full time. I was reluctant for some time to purchase dewalt tools..I was loyal to other brands. My cabinet table saw went down and I have to wait a week for the parts I need. I am busy with orders so I decided To purchase a inexpensive table top saw. I looked at this saw and others . The quality is obvious as soon as you look under this saw and notice that all the guts are made of metal. They have really added useful features to this saw that I wish my larger saw had. I make sure that I dial in all my tools and this table saw was ready to go right out of the box. I checked everything over. I love the ability to set the rip fence and use the knob to maneuver it left and right. This feature is very accurate. The top is flat and the extension supports offer a lot of work space. When I turned this saw on I was impressed with how quiet it was and the power. I cut only hardwood and this saw rips 2-3 inch oak all day. Love the dust collection system that easily connects to a shop vac. Overall, If you are looking for a table top saw for your shop This is a great purchase. If you buy the cheaper versions, you will have a weaker motor, cheap top and fence , and will eventually burn it out. This comes with a 3 year automatic warranty. Dewalt really has put effort into designing a quality saw with very useful features. I will be returning to my cabinet saw but this saw will definitely have a home in my shop. highly reccomend
