To save money and feed the birds in the winter, it is possible to make the same small cubes of birdseed that you usually find in stores. Spread a piece of plastic wrap around the inside a mesh bag like those in which onions are sold. Mix the birdseed with peanut butter and spoon it into the bag. Place it in the freezer. Once frozen, you'll be able to hang the bag outdoors. The birds will love it. |
