Watering plants while you're gone |

When you can't water your plants (tomatoes, other vegetables, annuals and perennials, newly planted trees, etc.) for a period of time, place an inverted plastic water bottle in which you have pierced or drilled a small hole in the cap at the base of each plant. The water will drip slowly and keep your plants watered for a few days. |
