Children’s special

It’s the wonder of children that makes this time of year truly magical. So why not decorate the playroom so they can enjoy the run-up to Christmas even more? A beautifully trimmed tree covered in ribbons, garlands and amusing ornaments is a must! Here we used red as the main theme, which blends well with the pretty curtains at the windows. Bears and stuffed toys dressed in colourful winter outfits sit in the bookshelves and on storage units. The empty wall space between the two windows offers an ideal spot to hang Christmas stockings. For continuity and harmony, we kept the children’s theme in mind throughout.

White Christmas

For this Victorian-style room with its dominant white colour scheme, we created a truly elegant decor by continuing the monochromatic theme in the decoration. The tree looks stunning with its silver ornaments and white lights that fit perfectly with the rest of the room. On the tables and up the stairs, votive candles provide soft lighting. The small antique table displays a gift and an eye-catching centrepiece of evergreen branches, fruit, and gold pinecones. The magnificent staircase is decorated with a sumptuous string of pearls wrapped around the banister and baubles on ribbons dangling between the balusters. A dazzling, up-to-date decor, fully in keeping with the room.
