Hassle-Free Returns: Save your receipt
At RONA we stand behind every product we sell.
For Products other than Appliances
If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your product, return it in the 90 days following your purchase, in its original condition and packaging with your original receipt for a refund, exchange or store credit. Some exceptions and conditions apply*.
Returns with the original sales receipt will be refunded by the original method of payment.
Returns without the original sales receipt or packaging may be accepted at RONA’s discretion. In such an event, the lowest system price will be refunded as a store credit/gift card.
Your name, address and phone number will be required as well as a valid government identification prior to accepting merchandise for return without a receipt only.
Returns and exchanges of appliances are covered by the section entitled “For Appliances” hereunder.
There are no returns on tinted paint or stain, products that have been cut to length, modified or customized in any way, special order products, and certain products for hygienic reasons (e.g. toilet seats, masks, gloves, etc.).
Your local RONA store may refuse a return for items purchased at another RONA inc. banner that it does not carry in its regular product selection.
Gift cards, gift certificates and store credits cannot be exchanged or returned for cash or credit.
There are no returns on used power equipment (including but not limited to lawnmowers, trimmers, snowblowers, etc.)
Damaged or defective products are subject to the legal or manufacturer’s warranty, as applicable.
Prior to Delivery
You can obtain a refund of your purchase of a home appliance by asking that your order be cancelled at any time prior to the delivery of the home appliance, subject to a restocking fee equal to 25% of the purchase price of said home appliance in the case of a special order. The refund will be made by the original method of payment.
After to Delivery
After the delivery of the home appliance, if for any reason (other for than for a defect or damage – please see “Defects and Damages” below) you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may, in the 30 days following the purchase:
- Return the home appliance and therefore obtain a refund made by the original method of payment, subject to a restocking fee equal to 25% of the purchase price of said home appliance; or
- Exchange the home appliance for another home appliance of equal or greater value, subject to the applicable delivery and pick-up fees according to pricing in effect at such time at RONA inc. Please contact 1-855-RONA-123 for information on the fees applicable for the exchange of said home appliance.
In any case, the home appliance must be returned in its original condition, without any damage or scratches, with the original documentation (guides, instruction manuals, etc.), in acceptable sanitary conditions for RONA and must be accompanied by the original receipt. The exchanges and the returns can only be made with the RONA store where the home appliance was purchased. Please contact 1-855-RONA-123 for further information.
Defects and damages
You must inspect thoroughly your home appliance at the time of delivery. If you are not satisfied, refuse the item before signing the delivery receipt. Be sure to report any product defects or damages with the delivery agent. Damages or defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. We may send a technician to your home to assess the problem and attempt to solve it. In this case, the legal or manufacturer’s warranty will apply, as appropriate, and not this Return Policy.
Notwithstanding this Return Policy, RONA reserves the right to limit or refuse a return for a reason not stated above. This Return Policy may be modified at any time without notice.
