This 30" x 48" hanging pot rack helps create a warm and inviting atmosphere by lowering the perceived ceiling height. What’s more, seeing your cookware on display is sure to inspire the chef in you, as well as impress your guests. This easy-to-build wood rack is made from a suspended frame crossed with dowel rods.

  • Circular saw or mitre saw
  • Screwdriver drill (electric or cordless)
  • Countersink drill bit for No. 8 screws
  • 7/16" drill bit
  • Tape measure
  • Carpenter’s square
  • Rubber mallet
  • Pencil

MATERIALS

  • 3 pine boards, 1" x 2" x 96"
  • 6 wood dowel rods, 7/16" in diameter x 48"
  • 8 – 1 1/4" No. 8 screws
  • 4 No. 8 screw eyes
  • 4 No. 8 screw hooks
  • 4 chains of ± 5" (5 links of ± 1")
  • (N.B.: for an 8-ft. ceiling)
  • 4 quick links of ± 1"
  • 18 large S hooks
  • Wood glue
  • Stain
